I wanted to let you know that I am excited about the path you are on. I really expect great things from you as you pursue your career at Navy. Everyone misses you but we are confident that we will see you again and see the growth.
I know you are exposed to some rough treatment and language. It's tough when you are inundated with profanity and hard to prevent it from affecting you. Shut it out and don't let it seep into your vocabulary.
I understand you have made some new friends. Be a leader and help these guys to be better for knowing you.
Football will be great this fall. I look forward to seeing you on the field and pulling for you and the team.
Continue to work hard and focus on everything they are teaching you and you will excel.
Always remember: I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.
