Little Cabin Home On the Hill (Flatt and Monroe) is a song about a separation, possibly a divorce, which left the man along in the home he had shared with the woman he loved.  <p> To make this great tune, and for the most part great lyrics, suitable for a faith-based set, I have tweaked the story to tell of a man whose wide passed away leaving him along. <p>  In the end, after much grieving, he leaves the cabin home as well and goes to meet her in the presence of the Lord.
