The thing about this song is how it brings men up from the low sexual view of women up to a Christ-like sympathy for those whom life has let down. <p>The song offers no relief, just sympathy from afar.   How different is the compassion of our Lord who seeks to save that which is lost - not just to escape eternal damnation, but to give each of us abundant life in the here and now.  <p> May we see all people, especially women, as those whom Christ shed His blood for.
