Blue Kentucky Girl was written by Johnny Mullins and record by Loretta Lynn. It is a great country song which I have adapted to be a good Gospel song.

I think it is good because it builds on a story that is common to so many people. They start out to explore life, crash and burn, and then come back to a stable, productive life.

The most important 'come back' is to the realization that the Lord Jesus Christ has all that we will ever need - for all eternity.

The story is sung from the perspective of our Lord who seeks the one lost sheep.

Tag intro. Tag break. Tag vocally and end
