There`s A Light Guiding Me G

I talked with the Lord ... Many nights at my bedside
I`ve asked for His guidance as I knelt to pray
He showed me the Way ... It's joyously thrilling
By His Word and His Spirit I walk in the day

There`s a Light guiding me ... I can see Jesus` glory
And He holds me steadfast to His Way and His Love
He`s guiding me through ... Temptation and evil
I`m walking in Power toward heaven above.

To the far distant shore ... Many friends left before me
They`re singing the Praises of God`s Love I know
Through the valley of death ... I am guided by Jesus
I see the still waters, I`m ready to go.

When that great day comes ... And I see heaven`s glory
I`ll praise Him for keeping me safe in His care
He`ll open the gate ... And bid me to enter
When the roll`s called up yonder I`ll see you up there!
