I Want To See Jesus

I want to see Jesus
and look upon His face,
And meet all of the people
who have gone there by His grace;
Hear the angel choir sing
songs of Zion and make them ring,
But most of all I want to see Jesus
more than anything.
I want to see the mansions there
built by God's own hand,
And see the doors swing open wide
for the just and righteous man;
To wear the robe of white
and sit beside the healing stream,
But most of all I want to see Jesus
more than anything.
I want to see Jesus
and touch His nail-scarred hands,
And walk along beside Him
and view that promised land;
See the marvelous view
and hear the joy bells ring,
But most of all I want to see Jesus
more than anything.

I want to see the mansions there
built by God's own hand,
And see the doors swing open wide
for the just and righteous man;
To wear the robe of white
and sit beside the healing stream,
But most of all I want to see Jesus
more than anything.
