Exodus Am

Now God said tell Pharaoh let my people go
He heard them calling out
by His promise from long ago
God said to Moses he’ll see what I will do
With acts of judgment and my outstretched arm
I will redeem you

He sent the blood, sent the frogs,
sent the gnats, sent the flies
But Pharaoh’s heart was cold
He sent the boils, sent the hail,
sent the locusts
Still Pharaoh’s answer was no
After darkness and death of the firstborn,
finally in the night
Pharaoh said to Moses take your people and go

The rest you will remember
God led them all the way
By day He was in the pillar of cloud,
by night a pillar of fire
They fed on quail and manna,
drank water from the stone
On that journey to Canaan land
they were never alone

Exodus, exodus,
Exodus, exodus,
The children cried, the Father heard
Please deliver us
Exodus, exodus,
Exodus, exodus (last time only)
