I've heard the story all my life,
'bout that everlasting life.
Heard folks tell redemption's story
Since I was a little boy.

Heard saints pray and praise His name.
I have never been the same,
Jesus came and made me whole,
When He saved my dying soul.

One of these days,
Yes, one of these days.
I'll see my Savior over there,
One of these days.

I'll see the angels round His throne,
See a mansion, it's my home!
See my Savior over there,
One of these days.

Once I was walking deep in sin,
Had no hope, no Peace within.
Thought my life would last forever,
Death would touch me, no never.

Then I heard the preacher say,
I would have to pay one day.
I knelt and gave my heart to Him,
Now I'll sing it once again!
