Heaven Fever Bb

I'd hang around that devil way too long
I'd listen to him sing that same old song
Now I don't listen to Satan long enough
To bog down in his mud
'Cause I've got heaven fever in my blood
I caught this heaven fever long ago
When preached the Gospel then I came to know
Those who told me that no one would ever be damned
They damned sure told me wrong
Now I've got heaven fever to go home

Heaven fever
The kind that can't be measured by degrees
Heaven fever
I recommend you all get that disease
There's times when Satan comes on to attack
And tempts me to give up and then turn back
But I spend the early morning in His Word
And talkin' with my Lord
And thinkin' about when He'll be coming back

No I don't let old Satan get me down
And I'll never get too old to get around
I want to die along His highway and fly away
Where I will never grow old
And rest this heaven fever in my soul
