LUCASCO - Jesus - Is Islam Evil?

Is Islam Evil?

Recently, Rev. Franklin Graham has come under considerable criticism for remarks to the effect that 'Islam is an evil religion'. This criticism can only be justified from a position of political correctness - not from fact. For anyone even casually acquainted with Judeo- Christian theology the difference in spirit between the Koran and the Bible (both testaments) is unmistakable. The god of Islam is not the God of the Bible.

The primary division between Jews and Christians is in acknowledgement that Jesus of Nazareth (focus of the New Testament) is the Messiah. This is a tremendous divide. However, the God of the Old Testament is the God of the New Testament. Jesus is the incarnation of that God.

500 years AFTER Jesus ascended back to the Father, Mohammed chose to reject Jesus as the Son of God. Furthermore, he chose to reject Judaism and espoused a revelation of god apart from both faiths. It is disturbng that Judaism and Christianity are lumped together in criticized throughout the Koran. This represents a flat-out rejection of those faiths as true. Since Islam arose AFTER Christianity in the knowlege of the revelation of Jesus Christ it must be recognized as anti-Christ. Satan is the spirit of anti-Christ. Therefore, as Rev. Graham said, 'Islam is an evil and wicked religion'.

If the argument above is not sufficient for you, take the time to read the passages pulled directly from an English translation of the Koran. Lastly, please read the most wonderful statement about the one true God and His Son at the end. May God help us to reach the lost people of Islam with the Truth (Jesus Christ)!

Excerpts from the Koran

The Dinner Table [5.33] The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His apostle and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement,
[5.51] O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.

The Immunity

[9.14] Fight them, Allah will punish them by your hands and bring them to disgrace, and assist you against them and heal the hearts of a believing people.
[9.29] Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.
[9.30] And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!
[9.73] O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and their abode is hell, and evil is the destination.
[9.123] O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness; and know that Allah is with those who guard (against evil).
The Cow [2.120] And the Jews will not be pleased with you, nor the Christians until you follow their religion. Say: Surely Allah's guidance, that is the (true) guidance. And if you follow their desires after the knowledge that has come to you, you shall have no guardian from Allah, nor any helper.
[2.190] And fight in the way of Allah with those who fight with you, and do not exceed the limits, surely Allah does not love those who exceed the limits.
[2.191] And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers.
[2.193] And fight with them until there is no persecution, and religion should be only for Allah, but if they desist, then there should be no hostility except against the oppressors.
[2.244] And fight in the way of Allah, and know that Allah is Hearing, Knowing.
The Unity [112.1] Say: He, Allah, is One.
[112.2] Allah is He on Whom all depend.
[112.3] He begets not, nor is He begotten.
[112.4] And none is like Him.
The Accessions [8.15] O you who believe! when you meet those who disbelieve marching for war, then turn not your backs to them.
[8.39] And fight with them until there is no more persecution and religion should be only for Allah; but if they desist, then surely Allah sees what they do.
[8.65] O Prophet! urge the believers to war; if there are twenty patient ones of you they shall overcome two hundred, and if there are a hundred of you they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they are a people who do not understand.
[8.69] Eat then of the lawful and good (things) which you have acquired in war, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
The Prophets [21.80] And We taught him the making of coats of mail for you, that they might protect you in your wars; will you then be grateful?
The Women [4.74] Therefore let those fight in the way of Allah, who sell this world's life for the hereafter; and whoever fights in the way of Allah, then be he slain or be he victorious, We shall grant him a mighty reward.
[4.76] Those who believe fight in the way of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the way of the Shaitan. Fight therefore against the friends of the Shaitan; surely the strategy of the Shaitan is weak.
[4.89] They desire that you should disbelieve as they have disbelieved, so that you might be (all) alike; therefore take not from among them friends until they fly (their homes) in Allah's way; but if they turn back, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them, and take not from among them a friend or a helper.
[4.92] And it does not behoove a believer to kill a believer except by mistake, and whoever kills a believer by mistake, he should free a believing slave, and blood-money should be paid to his people unless they remit it as alms; but if he be from a tribe hostile to you and he is a believer, the freeing of a believing slave (suffices), and if he is from a tribe between whom and you there is a convenant, the blood-money should be paid to his people along with the freeing of a believing slave; but he who cannot find (a slave) should fast for two months successively: a penance from Allah, and Allah is Knowing, Wise.
The Ranks [61.4] Surely Allah loves those who fight in His way in ranks as if they were a firm and compact wall.
The Family of Imran [3.28] Let not the believers take the unbelievers for friends rather than believers; and whoever does this, he shall have nothing of (the guardianship of) Allah, but you should guard yourselves against them, guarding carefully; and Allah makes you cautious of (retribution from) Himself; and to Allah is the eventual coming.
[3.32] Say: Obey Allah and the Apostle; but if they turn back, then surely Allah does not love the unbelievers.
The Distinction [25.52] So do not follow the unbelievers, and strive against them a mighty striving with it.
The Victory [48.29] Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah, and those with him are firm of heart against the unbelievers, compassionate among themselves; you will see them bowing down, prostrating themselves, seeking grace from Allah and pleasure; their marks are in their faces because of the effect of prostration; that is their description in the Taurat and their description in the Injeel; like as seed-produce that puts forth its sprout, then strengthens it, so it becomes stout and stands firmly on its stem, delighting the sowers that He may enrage the unbelievers on account of them; Allah has promised those among them who believe and do good, forgiveness and a great reward.
