A lot has happened in our lives during the past 10 years. It has happened without Jonathan.
I have thought often of him and how precious he was to so many of us. He is missed more today than ever.
It is February 23, 2010 - the day before my 58th birthday. I was relaxing and listening to Phantom of the Opera tracks when I began Googling to learn a little of the history of the great musical. I had the great pleasure of seeing this production on Broadway. As I read what Wikipedia had to say about the play, there was a mention that it was the second longest running play in Great Britain - behind Les Miserables. I then began to think about this wonderful play. I had the pleasure of seeing this great production on Broadway as well. The most memorable song to me was Bring Him Home . I remember sitting in the balcony - front row, I believe - listening to Valjean pour his heart out through this beautiful song. Tears came to my eyes and I prayed the song on Jonathan's behalf. Three weeks later, the Lord brought him home.
