That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that He has raised Himself from the dead, you shall be saved. - Rom 10:9 This is the encapsulation of Grace, clearly pointing out our part which is faith in Jesus and confession of Him as risen Lord and Saviour.      The implication of our part being to believe on Jesus Christ and confess Him as risen Lord, is that He has done everything else!      It is why we call it amazing Grace!      It is why the gospel is nearly too good to be true!      Who raised Jesus from the dead?      He raised Himself Joh 10:17,18 by His Holy Spirit Rom 8:11.

For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. - Rom 10:10 It is Heart Faith that enables the miracle of the New Birth.      It is our personal confession of Jesus as mighty Creator and loving Saviour that seals that miracle.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. - Rev 12:11 This is one of the most important verses in the book of revelation for each of us personally.      We overcome by two actions and one attitude.     The two actions; 1) Jesus shed blood 2) Our testimony.      The one attitude is 1) Being willing to die for Christ's sake.

For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. - Rom 10:13 The Lord is just the generic name for deity.     calling upon the Lord will not save anyone.     Jesus is the express image of the only true and living deity.     It is in the name Jesus that anyone is saved.      → Jesus is the name of the Lord.      → Jesus is the name of the Lord.      Understanding this gives real meaning to this important verse which declares the power of salvation in the name of Jesus.

And how shall they preach, except they be sent?     as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! - Rom 10:15 It is such an honour and privilege to testify, to witness, to preach, to sing or otherwise proclaim the Gospel of Grace Through Faith In Christ.
