The first day of the week is Sunday. It is the day we rest and refresh ourselves in the Lord.
So, if we have rested and refreshed ourselves we are equipped to go forward into the week to accomplish things.
In the same way, morning should be our favorite time of day. We have slept and refreshed our bodies and minds. We are now prepared to go forth and accomplish things.
If you dread Monday or want to stay in bed in the morning, Satan has stolen something very precious from you - the joy and expectation of life.
I suppose the reason so many people hate Monday and dread the morning is because of some unpleasant job or circumstance they face.
But in reality the problem is in the heart and not in the circumstances.
If our heart is rooted and grounded in Faith we expect good things.
If our heart is rooted and grounded in fear and unbelief then we expect bad things.
Our expectation is what we imagine will happen.
For as he thinks in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, says he to you; but his heart is not with you. - |
In order for you to begin to look forward to Monday and the morning you must repent of fear and unbelief.
Then begin to praise and thank the Lord for the new opportunity to experience life.
As you trust in the love of the Lord and His promises of blessings, you will begin to experience eternal abundant life - even on Monday and in the morning.
