For as he thinks in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, says he to you; but his heart is not with you. Pro 23:7 What we truly believe is in our hearts.     It manifests in how we think, what we say and what we do.     Mat 12:34

O generation of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things?     for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Mat 12:34 A generation is the set of all people of a particular age group.      Jesus is saying that virtually all the people He was talking to were vipers - cold-blooded snakes only interested in filling their guts.      They were evil and it was impossible for them to speak the Truth.     Their hears were evil and so their speech was evil.      In order for these words the Lord spoke not to apply to us, we must repent and change our minds, our thinking, to that of our Lord Jesus Christ.

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. Luk 6:45 The Lord is good and anyone who aspires to be good must be filled with the Lord the Holy Spirit.     He it is that manifests good in us.     Phi 2:13 Our hearts must be transformed by the power of the Word and the Holy Spirit.

And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think you evil in your hearts? Mat 9:4 It is evil to disbelieve in Jesus Christ.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see the Lord. Mat 5:8 Pure In Heart is the state of a person who has a Love Of The Truth.     The Lord will reveal Himself to those that have a Love Of The Truth.     We see the Lord through spiritual revelation of the Word and fellowship with Him in the Holy Spirit.

Now the end of the commandment is love out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: 1Ti 1:5 Heart Faith in love by the Holy Spirit is our state of existence.     Such is a Pure Heart.
