In the beginning was the Soul, and the Soul was with the Holy Spirit, and the Soul was the Holy Spirit. Joh 1:1 What does it mean by in the beginning was the Word ?         → A `word` is an expression of an idea.         → An idea comes from a mind that is self-aware and able to think.         → When a word is spoken it has a purpose and it often has an intensity or emotion connected with it.         → Mind, will and emotions constitute a Soul.      So, the Soul Of God existed in the beginning.      What does it mean by the Word was with God ?         → God is a Spirit    → A spirit is the qualitative aspect of a being.     It represents the nature and value system of that being.         → The spirit of a being is the essence of that being.         → So, the Soul Of God was with the Spirit Of God in the beginning.      What does it mean by the Word was God ?         → It means that the Soul Of God and the Spirit Of God constitute one divine being.      Joh 1:2 emphasizes the fact that the Soul Of God and the Spirit Of God existed in the beginning.      Joh 1:3 tells us that this God who is Soul and Spirit created all things.      Joh 1:10 tells us that Jesus made the world.      Joh 1:14 tells us that the Soul Of God, the Word, was made flesh and dwelt among us.     Now we have the Body Of God.     This is Jesus.      Heb 1:3 tells us that Jesus is the express image of God.      So, God is a single being who is Spirit Soul And Body just as man is who was created in His image Gen 1:26.         → the Soul Of God,    → the Spirit Of God and    → the Body Of God constitute one God as is emphasized in Deu 6:4.      Word Creator

For the word of the Lord is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Heb 4:12 The Word of the Lord destroys our Sin Nature and makes us a New Spirit being.         → If we stay in the Word it will transform our minds to the Mind Of Christ.         → If we trust the Word it will heal our bodies.         → By the Word and the Holy Spirit we come to have the thoughts and intents of the Lord so purifying our hearts.

How we think about something and what we feel about it may be at odds.   

This is where the term HalfAMind comes from.   

We may think one way but our hearts tell us something different.   

When we consider the nature of our Creator with respect to Joh 1:1 we understand that He never has HalfAMind.   There is always agreement between His Mind and His Spirit (heart).   

When the Body Of God was formed in the womb of Mary a new possibility existed - that the Body Of God could disagree with the Soul Of God and the Spirit Of God.   

Amazingly, our Creator subjected Himself to being tempted by flesh to violate His Soul and His Spirit.   

But He passed the test Heb 4:15 and fulfilled all righteousness Mat 3:15 thus bringing to us the possibility of being made One with Him Joh 17:22 .
