Remember

Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has ought against you; - Mat 5:23

This is another aspect of 'Following Peace with all men.' and 'doing unto others as you would have them to do unto you' and 'showing Mercy in order to receive Mercy' .

Do you not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets you took up? - Mat 16:9

Peter came to his senses by remembering the Word . He Repented of his denial, lying, swearing and cursing .

They had listened and knew what He said but they did not believe Him.

Having eyes, see you not? and having ears, hear you not? and do you not remember ? - Mar 8:18

Naivete is childish . Jesus was expecting His Disciples to grow up in their Understanding of the chasm between Good and Evil, I am sure they did not have the same Opinion of the Scribes Pharisees Hypocrites as Jesus because their Spiritual Eyes were not open. They saw through Eyes of Flesh which told them that those Scribes Pharisees Hypocrites were the wealthy, elite, prominent, powerful people in their Society .

To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; - Luk 1:72

But Abraham said, Son, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and you are tormented. - Luk 16:25

Christians should go into the World expecting resistance. To not do so is simply Foolish setting the Naive Believer up to be offended and unfruitful.

But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, you may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you. - Joh 16:4

Before you go into Battle you must be prepared Mentally, Physically and Spiritually .

Jesus did want the unavoidable resistance that His Disciples would encounter to Discourage and Defeat them and so He prepares them for the worst.

A woman when she is in travail has sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembers no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world . - Joh 16:21

Jesus was dreading the pain, suffering, separation and death but He knew that the Father would raise Him again at which time the Disciples will rejoice .

Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit . - Act 11:16

Jesus is referring to the Spiritual Law of Sowing and Reaping .

There used to be a Physical separation between Jew and Gentile by virtue of the promise to Abraham and its sign, Circumcision.

The Resurrection of Jesus is the centerpiece of the Gospel .

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. - Heb 8:12

God through Christ Jesus has Forgiven all Sin for all Time for all Humanity ( Heb 10:10 ).

The only thing that separates a person from God is a lack of His Spirit in them ( 1Jn 4:13 ).

When we Receive Christ Jesus, we Receive His Word and His Spirit and become New Spirit beings ( Joh 3:5 Gal 4:29 ).

There is no other way to be Reconciled to God ( Act 4:12 1Jn 5:12 ).

And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. - Heb 10:17

God willed it. Christ paid for it. And this is the reality of those In Christ . We are Accepted In The Beloved .

Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body . - Heb 13:3

Compassion is Love in action . Prayer on behalf of those suffering is the least we can do .

Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation . - Heb 13:7

Support those who minister the Word Of God to you,

Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he does, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither does he himself receive the brothers, and forbids them that would, and casts them out of the church . - 3Jn 1:10

Such a person should be stripped of any leadership position.

But, beloved, remember you the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; - Jud 1:17

We ought always fill our heads and Hearts with the Word of God .

Remember therefore from where you are fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto you quickly, and will remove your candlestick out of his place, except you repent . - Rev 2:5

Repentance is changing how and what you Think . It is possible for Believers to Backslide and so be in need of Repentance and doing their First Works . To resist the Teaching and leading of the Word and Holy Spirit puts one in jeopardy of losing their Influence - i.e . having their Candlestick removed.

Remember therefore how you have received and heard, and hold fast, and repent . If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on you as a thief, and you shall not know what hour I will come upon you. - Rev 3:3

For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities . - Rev 18:5
