Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Phi 2:5 Jesus wants us to be like Him.       After all, He created us in His image Gen 1:26.        He chided His disciples when they did not measure up to their potential.       `Oh you of litte faith, why are you so fearful` Mar 4:40.        Jesus made it possible for us to be accepted by His Holy Spirit through His blood sacrifice Eph 1:6.        Once cleansed He made it possible for us to receive His Holy Spirit Luk 24:49.        The Holy Spirit of Christ is who raised Christ Jesus from the dead Rom 8:11.        He told us that greater deeds would we do as a result of receiving that gift Joh 14:12.        But, in order for us to realize our potential we must `realize our potential` 1Jn 3:2.        As we think in our hearts so are we Pro 23:7.        For me or you to reach our potential in Christ we must believe what He said about us to the extent that we allow it to transform our thoughts, words and deeds Rom 12:2.        The Mind Of Christ is achieved by knowingly and willingly being transformed by the Word and Holy Spirit Phi 2:5.        We must desire to have the Mind Of Christ and we must feed on what He fed on to arrive at the same place He did Mat 5:6.        Jesus said the Kingdom Of Heaven is at hand when He walked the earth Mat 4:17.        In the Word and Holy Spirit we can manifest heaven on earth Mat 12:28.        It is His will but is it yours?       Eph 3:20

This very powerful command cannot be followed unless we understand the Mind Of Christ.     

What is the Mind Of Christ?     

First of all, our mind contains our knowledge and our opinions.     It is also aware of our identity.     

Our soul is our mind, will and emotions.      It is who we manifest as in word and deed.     

In the New Birth our identity is changed from the Sin Nature to the New Nature as we are made new Spirit beings.     

Our New Spirit self has the Mind Of Christ.     But our soul does not automatically submit to the New Spirit.     

Our soulish mind has to be transformed to begin to accept the New Nature and to operate in the New Nature which is contained in our New Spirit.     

This happens through reading and meditating on the Word, by praying in the Spirit and by speaking and acting the Word.     It requires us to `let` the Mind Of Christ in our New Spirit to manifest in our soulish mind.     

The Mind Of Christ manifested this way:
   → Jesus was physically born of God`s Spirit by the virgin Mary.     He was born without the imputed sin of man.     
   → As a young person, Jesus studied the scriptures reconciling His mind to that of the Word of God.     He went about His Father`s business.     
   → When He was baptized by John, the Holy Spirit settled and abode on Him.     From there Jesus entered the wilderness to be tempted by Satan.     This was a time when He dealt with the implications of His purpose and prepared Himself for the work.     
   → Jesus began to preach repentance and the kingdom of heaven, to heal the sick, to set captives free, and to miraculously meet the needs of the people.     He said of Himself that He came to speak the words of the Father and to do the will of the Father.     

This is the Mind Of Christ.     You say you still don`t quiet get it?     

OK, here are the significant components of the Mind Of Christ:
   1.     Knowledge of the scriptures - foundation
   2.     Being filled with the Holy Spirit - empowerment
   3.     Seeing yourself as God has called you - revelation
   4.     Accepting your calling - faith
   5.     Walking in your calling - obedience
   6.     Manifesting the glory of God as a living sacrifice - Victory

All of the above are necessary for you to have the Mind Of Christ.     

The world needs Jesus.     It is by manifesting the Mind Of Christ that we will bring Him to them and them to Him.
