Circumspection is Good if it is genuine. Jesus was genuinely Circumspect. However, the ScribesPhariseesHypocrites maintained False Circumspection.

In this passage Jesus is judged yo be a Sinner because He associated with Sinners.

Now we know the purpose for which Jesus associated with them. He came to Seek and Save that which was Lost.

He didn't associate with Sinners to condone their Sin. Neither did He associate with them to enjoy their Sin. And He certainly did not associate with them to learm how to Sin like they did.

Be you not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what Fellowship has Righteousness with Unrighteousness? and what Communion has Light with Darkness? - 2Co 6:14

God is Inclusive on His terms. He accepts no one who has not Believed on Jesus Christ and been Born of the HolySpirit.

The reason for this rigidity is that Light and Darkness cannot coexist. Neither can Good and Evil,

And have no Fellowship with the unfruitful Works of Darkness, but rather Reprove them. - Eph 5:11

Light and Darkness are mutually exclusive. There is no Fellowship except through Agreement. Reprove and Rebuke those whose Ideas come from Darkness.

So, in all of our relations with people we must consider our purpose and the implications of that association in the eyes of others with respect to our TestimonyOfJesusChrist.
