The SinNature is controlled by the Lust of the Flesh, the Lust of the Eye and the Pride of life. (1Jn 2:16) By the Power, Teaching and leading of the HolySpirit a Believer is able to overcome the short-sighted, destructive urgings of the Flesh. (Rom 6:12) Such SelfControl is a Testimony to the Work of Christ in us. |
