And when all Jabeshgilead heard all that the Philistines had done to Saul,

And when the Philistines heard that David was anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David.       And David heard of it, and went out against them.

O Lord, there is none like you, neither is there any the Lord beside you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

Now when Tou king of Hamath heard how David had struck all the host of Hadarezer king of Zobah;

And when David heard of it, he sent Joab, and all the host of the mighty men.

But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which the Lord has prepared for them that love him.
This does not just speak to what awaits us at the End Of The Age.       It also speaks to what is now available in heavenly places In Christ Jesus.

We cannot see with our physical eyes what is available to us in Heavenly Places.       But we see them clearly with spiritual eyes - eyes that see the Word Of The Lord as the Truth about our existence and His provision for us.

Jesus came that we might have Abundant Life .

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
John was an eye witness of our Lord Jesus Christ who was with the Father in the beginnning.

That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that you also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
hearing and believing the Gospel of Grace Through Faith gives us fellowship with Christ by the Holy Spirit through whom we have fellowship with all other believers.

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that the Holy Spirit is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
pure light, pure Truth, pure love is our the Lord.       no shadow of darkness at all in Him.

10
Little children, it is the last time: and as you have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
The spirit of Anti Christ is the spirit of Satan whose plan is to destroy the Kingdom Of God.

11
Let that therefore abide in you, which you have heard from the beginning.       If that which you have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, you also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
The Gospel of Grace Through Faith is the foundation for life and we ought never to depart from it.

How do we continue in the Son and the Father?
    The Son is the Word.
The Father is the Holy Spirit.

12
Brothers, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which you had from the beginning.       The old commandment is the word which you have heard from the beginning.
There is no need for new commandments.       We need to observe the Word in all things.

13
For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
love the Lord and love one another and so fulfill the Law and the prophets.

14
And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of the Holy Spirit: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof you have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Every person
    is either saved or lost
is either a wheat or a tare
is either going to heaven or going to hell
is either a Child Of The Holy Spirit or a Child Of Satan

What a person does with the Lord Jesus Christ makes all the difference.

Eliab was concerned about his sheep when the whole nation was being threatened by the Philistines.       Petty-minded people will get angry when you are not just as petty.

David was accused of pride because he had confidence in the Lord.       Doubters will always react to faith this way so don't let it bother you.

David was also accused of naughtiness because he knew in his heart that there were greater things in store for him than what he was currently doing.       Do not let others put you in a box.

Trust the Lord and experience Abundant Life.

51
And when the words were heard which David spoke, they rehearsed them before Saul: and he sent for him.

59

69
For this cause also thank we the Lord without ceasing, because, when you received the word of the Lord which you heard of us, you received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of the Lord, which effectually works also in you that believe.
It is wonderful when hearers of the Word become believers and receivers of the Word that we minister to them.

How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

86
(For he says, I have heard you in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured you: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation).
Many hear the Gospel of Grace in vain by not believing and receiving it.

Those who would think they can put the Holy Spirit off are guilty of the sin of self-worship which offends the Holy Spirit.       When the Holy Spirit is offended He simply does not deal with the offender again.       Hence, they will never have a desire for the Lord.

Today is the day of salvation.       Grace is not offered as a gift certificate, redeemable at the individual's discretion.

87
And this is love, that we walk after his commandments.       This is the commandment, That, as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.

102

112
And the victory that day was turned into mourning unto all the people: for the people heard say that day how the king was grieved for his son.

113
And afterward when David heard it, he said, I and my kingdom are guiltless before the Lord for ever from the blood of Abner the son of Ner:

114
And when Saul's son heard that Abner was dead in Hebron, his hands were feeble, and all the Israelites were troubled.

115
But when the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines came up to seek David; and David heard of it, and went down to the hold.

When Toi king of Hamath heard that David had struck all the host of Hadadezer,

119
And the things that you have heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit you to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
We must make a point of teaching the young the Gospel of Grace Through Faith.

120
And said, Cornelius, your prayer is heard, and your alms are had in remembrance in the sight of the Lord.

121
While Peter yet spoke these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all them which heard the word.
Spirit Baptism is a work of faith as is the case with all blessings from the Lord.       As Peter preached the Gospel of the kingdom the Holy Spirit quickened their mortal bodies and they begin to speak in tongues under the power of the Holy Spirit.

Notice that the Holy Spirit sanctioned what Peter said about the name of Jesus.       When Jesus is lifted up the Holy Spirit lifts up the lifters and those who hear and believe.

122
For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify the Lord.       Then answered Peter,
worshipping the Lord in Spirit and in Truth is worshipping the Lord Jesus in the Holy Spirit.       The Holy Spirit is the Lord.       When He is in us we are enabled to worship in the Spirit Realm, not just in the Physical Realm.

Worship in the Spirit takes an individual from the limitations of rational thought and form to revelation of the glory of Christ Jesus .        As we step into the Spirit Realm we are transcendentally taken into a higher consciousness of the Lord and so worship Him in Spirit.

The Truth aspect of worship involves knowledge of and understanding of who we are In Christ so that we grasp our qualification to boldly enter into the Holy Of Holies.

123
And the apostles and brothers that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of the Lord.
They received the Word Of The Lord.       They did not just hear the Word Of The Lord.       hearing only produces faith when that which is heard is believed and received.

124
When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified the Lord, saying, Then has the Lord also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

125
And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.

126
And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
First of all, this is an observation by Luke who was not an apostle but a recorder.       All recorders record things as they see it.       The fact that some received while others Refused made no sense to Luke (nor to me) and so he could only assume that some were ordained and others not.

So, which comes first, the believing or the ordaining?

This verse makes it sound like the ordaining came first.       However, if one is ordained to eternal life then believing is unnecessary.       This cannot be.

When a person believes on Christ Jesus, they are ordained to Eternal Life.

Always remember that the Lord sees the end from the beginning.       He knows who will receive Christ Jesus but He does not force or deny anyone access to His Grace.

127
Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,

128
The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,

129
Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, You must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

130
And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped the Lord, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.

131
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto the Lord: and the prisoners heard them.

132
And the serjeants told these words unto the magistrates: and they feared, when they heard that they were Romans.

133
And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear you again of this matter.

134
And they troubled the people and the rulers of the city, when they heard these things.

135
And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of the Lord more perfectly.

136
And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

137
He said unto them, Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed?       And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Spirit.
What is intensely realized in our soul (mind, emotions and will) will manifest in our body.

If the inspiration for that realization is the Spirit Of Truth and the object of that realization is the Word Of Truth then what is manifested through the believer is pure worship and ministry.

Coupled with right realization is control and order.

Just as the Lord does not make us realize, neither does He make us manifest.

So, there is subjectivity involved in how the Holy Spirit manifests in the believer or not.

If you are a cessationist you choose to be so.
If you are a continuationist you choose to be so.

'Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed?'
To receive something means you accept it.

138
And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.
When tradition is threatened people get fanatical about it.

139
When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
If they were simply Water Baptized, there was no spriritual, eternal accomplishment.

It is through faith that we receive the gift of Eternal Life by Grace.

140
And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, says he, you have heard of me.
The promise of the Father is Spirit Baptism which is necessary for accuracy and effectiveness in preaching the Gospel.

141
And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.

142
And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:

143
For you shall be his witness unto all men of what you have seen and heard.

144
(And when they heard that he spoke in the Hebrew tongue to them, they kept the more silence: and he says),

145
When the centurion heard that, he went and told the chief captain, saying, Take heed what you do: for this man is a Roman.

146
And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecute you me?

147
And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spoke to me.

148
And when Paul's sister's son heard of their lying in wait, he went and entered into the castle, and told Paul.

149
And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.

150
And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.

151
And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecute you me?       it is hard for you to kick against the pricks.

152
And from there, when the brothers heard of us, they came to meet us as far as Appii forum, and The three taverns: whom when Paul saw, he thanked the Lord, and took courage.

153
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brothers, what shall we do?
thank the Lord for the few Jews who heard, believed and received the Gospel.

154
Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
The Holy Spirit spoke through known tongues on this day as a witness to the unbelieving Jews gathered in the city.

155
For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.
If you don't have the same urge that Peter had to speak what you have heard from the Word and seen Christ do in you and for you, there is something wrong.

Are you Spirit Filled?
Are you in the Word?
Do you really believe?

The reason these questions are important for you to answer is that there is worldwide persecution coming against Christianity.       You cannot be lukewarm and survive the pressure.

Stir up the gift that is in you.
Return to your First Love.
Do your First Works.

156
And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to the Lord with one accord, and said, Lord, you are the Lord, which have made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:
They Praised and glorified the Lord for giving victory to Peter and John.

157
Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.
The testimony of Jesus Christ empowered by the Holy Spirit will touch people's hearts.       In this case, 5000 people heard, believed and received the Truth.

158
And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.
This strange event resulted in fear because of the confrontation of good and evil.

159
And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught.       But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.
Were all these people that were called to the council bad people?
yes, because they were part of the system that hated Christ and His church.

160
Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.
More news that they were going to have to suppress.

161
When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.
How intense is one's pride that when offended requires the death of the offender.

162
And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up His Holy Spirit: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

163
Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against the Lord.
If the facts don't support your case then manufacture some that do.       Such is the state of a Child Of Satan in the first century and such is the state of a Child Of Satan today.

164
For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us.
The best lies is one with an element of truth.
In this case, the truth part is that the Mosaic covenant has been supplanted by the Law of Grace Through Faith.

165
But when Jacob heard that there was corn in Egypt, he sent out our fathers first.

166
I have seen, I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them.       And now come, I will send you into Egypt.

167
When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

168
Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of the Lord, they sent unto them Peter and John:

169
And Philip ran there to him, and heard him read the prophet Isaiah, and said, Understand you what you reads?
Understanding

170
Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he has done to your saints at Jerusalem:

171
But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came here for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?

172
And forasmuch as Lydda was near to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them.

173
And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecute you me?

174
If you continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which you have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
Our status In Christ is by virtue of our faith in His finished work.       We must guard our hearts from allowing unbelief to to undermine our status.

175
Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which you have to all the saints,
faith in Christ produces love one for another and inspires a testimony for Him.

176
For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
The Gospel reveals the good things of the Lord's Grace which includes blessings for this life and for our life with Him in heaven.       The Gospel is the Word of Truth.

177
Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and brings forth fruit, as it does also in you, since the day you heard of it, and knew the grace of the Holy Spirit in truth:
The pure Gospel will bring forth fruit whereever and whenever it is preached.       The Gospel reveals the Grace of the Lord in Truth.

178
For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
Spiritual understanding comes by revelation of the Word by the Holy Spirit.       We are to be filled with this knowledge which clarifies the will of the Lord in wisdom.       We ought to pray for all Christians to attain this level of connection with the Lord.

179
Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that you did set your heart to understand, and to chasten yourself before your Lord, your words were heard, and I am come for your words.

180
Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.

181
And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that lives for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

182
And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

183
Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

184
I have even heard of you, that the spirit of the gods is in you, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom is found in you.

185
And I have heard of you, that you can make interpretations, and dissolve doubts: now if you can read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation thereof, you shall be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about your neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.
Doubt is uncertainty which produces fear.       Our Lord wants us to know, to be certain, to be assured, to be confident,

186
Then the king, when he heard these words, was very much displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.
Unlike Nebuchadrezzar who flew off the handle when he had made a ridiculous decree, Darius recognized his foolishness and was sorry for it, He did his best to find a legal way to give Daniel a pass.

187
Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spoke, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

188
And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.

189
And it be told you, and you have heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel:

190
And the Lord heard the voice of your words, and was angry, and sware, saying,

191
And when we cried unto the Lord of our fathers, the Lord heard our voice, and looked on our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression:

192
And the Lord spoke unto you out of the midst of the fire: you heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only you heard a voice.

193
For ask now of the days that are past, which were before you, since the day that the Lord created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there has been any such thing as this great thing is, or has been heard like it?

194
Did ever people hear the voice of the Lord speaking out of the midst of the fire, as you have heard, and live?

195
Out of heaven he made you to hear his voice, that he might instruct you: and upon earth he showed you his great fire; and you heard his words out of the midst of the fire.

196
And it came to pass, when you heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire), that you came near unto me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders;

197
And you said, Behold, the Lord, our Lord has showed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that the Lord does talk with man, and he lives.

198
For who is there of all flesh, that has heard the voice of the living Holy Spirit speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?

199
And the Lord heard the voice of your words, when you spoke unto me; and the Lord said unto me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto you: they have well said all that they have spoken.

200
A people great and tall, the children of the Anakims, whom you know, and of whom you have heard say, Who can stand before the children of Anak!

201
Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.

202
The words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that rules among fools.

203
In whom you also trusted, after that you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that you believed, you were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise,
When we heard the Gospel of Truth we believed it, received it and trusted it.
In so doing we signed the New Covenant that the Holy Spirit offered to us by the preaching of the Word.
As a result, we were Born Again and made New Spirit beings In Christ Jesus.

Our New Spirit is perfect.
Our sanctification in the New Birth made us eligible to receive the Holy Spirit.

So, every such Born Again believer who asks for the baptism of the Holy Spirit is filled with Him.

This baptism of the Holy Spirit is the seal of the New Covenant, He was promised and His presence in us holds promise of power going out of us.

204
Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
faith in Christ and love for the saints is evidence of the New Spirit.

205
If you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of the Holy Spirit which is given me to you-ward:
The dispensation of Law was ended.       The dispensation of Grace has begun.       It will be followed by the dispensation of the Millennial Kingdom.       Paul has been charged with delivering the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ which is all about Grace.

The Holy Spirit dispenses the Grace that was made available to us and authorized by Christ Jesus.

206
If so be that you have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
This transformation will occur in every person who has truly heard Jesus and is being taught by Him.       The Holy Spirit teaches us about Christ Jesus, the Truth.

207
Likewise shall the ladies of Persia and Media say this day unto all the king's princes, which have heard of the deed of the queen.       Thus shall there arise too much contempt and wrath.

208
So it came to pass, when the king's commandment and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together unto Shushan the palace, to the custody of Hegai, that Esther was brought also unto the king's house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women.

209
I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying, At even you shall eat flesh, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread; and you shall know that I am the Lord, your Lord.

210
And Moses spoke unto Aaron, Say unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, Come near before the Lord: for he has heard your murmurings.

211
When Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father in law, heard of all that the Lord had done for Moses, and for Israel his people, and that the Lord had brought Israel out of Egypt;

212
And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of your mouth.

213
And it shall be upon Aaron to minister: and his sound shall be heard when he goes in unto the holy place before the Lord, and when he comes out, that he die not.

214
Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses.       But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian: and he sat down by a well.

215
And the Lord heard their groaning, and the Lord remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.

216
And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp.

217
And when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments.

218
And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;

219
And the people believed: and when they heard that the Lord had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.

220
And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.

221
And the sound of the cherubims' wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty the Lord when he speaks.

222
The nations also heard of him; he was taken in their pit, and they brought him with chains unto the land of Egypt.

223
And they put him in ward in chains, and brought him to the king of Babylon: they brought him into holds, that his voice should no more be heard upon the mountains of Israel.

224
And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings.

225
As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about.       This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.       And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.

226
And I will cause the noise of your songs to cease; and the sound of your harps shall be no more heard.

227
And shall cause their voice to be heard against you, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes:

228
And the spirit entered into me when he spoke unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spoke unto me.

229
He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him.       But he that takes warning shall deliver his soul.

230
And you shall know that I am the Lord, and that I have heard all your blasphemies which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.

231
Thus with your mouth you have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard them.

232
Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of the Lord from his place.

233
I heard also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels over against them, and a noise of a great rushing.

234
And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.

235
So that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people: for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the noise was heard afar off.

236
Now when the adversaries of Judah and Benjamin heard that the children of the captivity builded the temple unto the Lord of Israel;

237
And when I heard this thing, I rent my garment and my mantle, and plucked off the hair of my head and of my beard, and sat down astonished.

238
For you have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of the Lord, and wasted it:
What Paul was now preaching had not connection whatsoever with his past life.

239
But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preaches the faith which once he destroyed.
Rumors get around.

240
And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan.

241
And the angel of the Lord said unto her, Behold, you are with child, and shall bear a son, and shall call his name Ishmael; because the Lord has heard your affliction.

242
And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.

243
And he said, I will certainly return unto you according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah your wife shall have a son.       And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.

244
And the Lord heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of the Lord called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What ails you, Hagar?       fear not; for the Lord has heard the voice of the lad where he is.

245
And Abimelech said, I know not who has done this thing: neither did you tell me, neither yet heard I of it, but to day.

246
And it came to pass, when he saw the earring and bracelets upon his sister's hands, and when he heard the words of Rebekah his sister, saying, Thus spoke the man unto me; that he came unto the man; and, behold, he stood by the camels at the well.

247
And it came to pass, that, when Abraham's servant heard their words, he worshipped the Lord, bowing himself to the earth.

248
And when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry, and said unto his father, Bless me, even me also, O my father.

249
And Rebekah heard when Isaac spoke to Esau his son.       And Esau went to the field to hunt for venison, and to bring it.

250
And Rebekah spoke unto Jacob her son, saying, Behold, I heard your father speak unto Esau your brother, saying,

251
And it came to pass, when Laban heard the tidings of Jacob his sister's son, that he ran to meet him, and embraced him, and kissed him, and brought him to his house.       And he told Laban all these things.

252
And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Because the Lord has heard that I was hated, he has therefore given me this son also: and she called his name Simeon.

253
And Rachel said, The Lord has judged me, and has also heard my voice, and has given me a son: therefore called she his name Dan.

254
And he heard the words of Laban's sons, saying, Jacob has taken away all that was our father's; and of that which was our father's has he gotten all this glory.

255
And Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah his daughter: now his sons were with his cattle in the field: and Jacob held his peace until they were come.

256
And the sons of Jacob came out of the field when they heard it: and the men were grieved, and they were very angry, because he had wrought folly in Israel in lying with Jacob's daughter; which thing ought not to be done.

257
And it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father's concubine: and Israel heard it.       Now the sons of Jacob were twelve:

258
And the man said, They are departed hence; for I heard them say, Let us go to Dothan.       And Joseph went after his brothers, and found them in Dothan.

259
And Reuben heard it, and he delivered him out of their hands; and said, Let us not kill him.

260
And it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled, and got him out.

261
And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spoke unto him, saying, After this manner did your servant to me; that his wrath was kindled.

262
And he said, I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
With sin there is separation, guilt and fear.

This is what makes sin, sin.       It is why our Lord hates sin.

263
And they heard the voice of the Lord walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord amongst the trees of the garden.
The implication is that it was not unusual for the Lord to spend time in the garden fellowshippong with Adan and Eve.

264
And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of you, that you can understand a dream to interpret it.

265
And he said, Behold, I have heard that there is corn in Egypt: get you down there, and buy for us from there; that we may live, and not die.

266
And they made ready the present against Joseph came at noon: for they heard that they should eat bread there.

267
And the fame thereof was heard in Pharaoh's house, saying, Joseph's brothers are come: and it pleased Pharaoh well, and his servants.

268
And he wept aloud: and the Egyptians and the house of Pharaoh heard.

269
When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he comes up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.

270
O Lord, I have heard your speech, and was afraid: O Lord, revive your work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember kindness.

271
And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
The children of israel did not want relationship with the Lord.

272
Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
Keep your heart In Christ who is our Lord and Saviour.

273
How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
existence is serious business at its root.       It is an opportunity to be glorified by receiving Christ Jesus.       But it is also an opportunity to reject Him and so to be a total failure ending up in the Lake Of Fire.

274
For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
When the Lord reveals the Truth about Himself to a person and they reject Him, He has no recourse but to reject them.

275
For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
When the Word Of The Lord is mixed with The Measure Of Faith we tap in to the Faith Of Christ which saves us, heals us, delivers us and prospers us.

But when a person hears the Gospel and does not receive it - refuse to allow it transform their heart - it profits them nothing.

Either prosperity or poverty will manifest according to how the Word affects our heart.

276
Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
Christ Jesus suffered anguish as any human would facing death.

277
Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols?       I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree.       From me is your fruit found.

278
When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation has heard.

279
Lift up your voice, O daughter of Gallim: cause it to be heard unto Laish, O poor Anathoth.

280
And Heshbon shall cry, and Elealeh: their voice shall be heard even unto Jahaz: therefore the armed soldiers of Moab shall cry out; his life shall be grievous unto him.

281
We have heard of the pride of Moab; he is very proud: even of his haughtiness, and his pride, and his wrath: but his lies shall not be so.

282
O my threshing, and the corn of my floor: that which I have heard of the Lord of hosts, the Lord of Israel, have I declared unto you.

283
From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous.       But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me!       the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yes, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.
Treacherous dealers are people who use the Truth to ingratiate themselves.       Those who have submitted themselves to men will realize their calamity.

284
Now therefore be you not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.

285
And the Lord shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall show the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.

286
And it came to pass, when king Hezekiah heard it, that he rent his clothes, and covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the Lord.

287
Behold, you have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands by destroying them utterly; and shall you be delivered?

288
Have you not heard long ago, how I have done it; and of ancient times, that I have formed it?       now have I brought it to pass, that you should be to lay waste defenced cities into ruinous heaps.

289
It may be the Lord, your Lord will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master has sent to reproach the living Holy Spirit, and will reprove the words which the Lord, your Lord has heard: wherefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.

290
And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall you say unto your master, Thus says the Lord, Be not afraid of the words that you have heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

291
So Rabshakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah: for he had heard that he was departed from Lachish.

292
And he heard say concerning Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, He is come forth to make war with you.       And when he heard it, he sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying,

293
Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus says the Lord, the Lord of David your father, I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears: behold, I will add unto your days fifteen years.

294
At that time Merodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah: for he had heard that he had been sick, and was recovered.

295
Have you not known?       have you not heard?       has it not been told you from the beginning?       have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?

296
Have you not known?       have you not heard, that the everlasting Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, faints not, neither is weary?       there is no searching of his understanding.
Isaiah asks these questions because of the foolishness of the people of his day.       They had turned their backs on the knowledge of God and become brute beasts in their living - totally carnal.

God IS whether man acknowledges Him or not.       He will validate the faith of the saints in The Judgment.       Those who have rejected the knowledge of the Truth will be cast into the Lake Of Fire.

297
He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.

298
You have heard, see all this; and will not you declare it?       I have showed you new things from this time, even hidden things, and you did not know them.

299
They are created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when you heard them not; lest you should say, Behold, I knew them.

300
Yes, you heard not; yes, you knew not; yes, from that time that your ear was not opened: for I knew that you would deal very treacherously, and were called a transgressor from the womb.

301
Thus says the Lord, In an acceptable time have I heard you, and in a day of salvation have I helped you: and I will preserve you, and give you for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;

302
So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.

303
Behold, you fast for strife and debate, and to strike with the fist of wickedness: you shall not fast as you do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high.

304
Violence shall no more be heard in your land, wasting nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.

305
For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither has the eye seen, O Lord, beside you, what he has prepared for him that waits for him.

306
And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
Jesus is coming back to establish the Millennial Kingdom in which Joy and Peace will cover the Earth.

307
And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

308
Who has heard such a thing?       who has seen such things?       Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day?       or shall a nation be born at once?       for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

309
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?       Then said I, Here am I; send me.
The Word was delivered by prophets who were moved on by the Holy Spirit.

310
Behold, we count them happy which endure.       You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender kindness.
Hold fast your profession until the end.       fight the good fight of faith.       In due time we will reap if we don't faint.

311
Therefore thus says the Lord; Ask you now among the heathen, who has heard such things: the virgin of Israel has done a very horrible thing.

312
Let a cry be heard from their houses, when you shall bring a troop suddenly upon them: for they have digged a pit to take me, and hid snares for my feet.

313
Now Pashur the son of Immer the priest, who was also chief governor in the house of the Lord, heard that Jeremiah prophesied these things.

314
For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side.       Report, say they, and we will report it.       All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Perhaps he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.

315
For who has stood in the counsel of the Lord, and has perceived and heard his word?       who has marked his word, and heard it?

316
I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

317
A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and an howling of the principal of the flock, shall be heard: for the Lord has spoiled their pasture.

318
Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts; Because you have not heard my words,

319
When the princes of Judah heard these things, then they came up from the king's house unto the house of the Lord, and sat down in the entry of the new gate of the Lord's house.

320
Then spoke the priests and the prophets unto the princes and to all the people, saying, This man is worthy to die; for he has prophesied against this city, as you have heard with your ears.

321
Then spoke Jeremiah unto all the princes and to all the people, saying, The Lord sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that you have heard.

322
And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death: but when Urijah heard it, he was afraid, and fled, and went into Egypt;

323
So the priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the Lord.

324
For thus says the Lord; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.

325
Thus says the Lord; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.
Thus saith the LORD¿ A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping¿ Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.

326
I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; You have chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn you me, and I shall be turned; for you are the Lord my Lord.

327
Thus says the Lord; Again there shall be heard in this place, which you say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,
Thus saith the LORD¿ Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,

328
Now when all the princes, and all the people, which had entered into the covenant, heard that every one should let his manservant, and every one his maidservant, go free, that none should serve themselves of them any more, then they obeyed, and let them go.

329
Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the Lord of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered.

330
When Michaiah the son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, had heard out of the book all the words of the Lord,

331
Then Michaiah declared unto them all the words that he had heard, when Baruch read the book in the ears of the people.

332
Now it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were afraid both one and other, and said unto Baruch, We will surely tell the king of all these words.

333
Yet they were not afraid, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words.

334
Then Pharaoh's army was come forth out of Egypt: and when the Chaldeans that besieged Jerusalem heard tidings of them, they departed from Jerusalem.

335
Then Shephatiah the son of Mattan, and Gedaliah the son of Pashur, and Jucal the son of Shelemiah, and Pashur the son of Malchiah, heard the words that Jeremiah had spoken unto all the people, saying,

336
Now when Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, one of the eunuchs which was in the king's house, heard that they had put Jeremiah in the dungeon; the king then sitting in the gate of Benjamin;

337
A voice was heard upon the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of Israel: for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten the Lord their Lord.

338
Likewise when all the Jews that were in Moab, and among the Ammonites, and in Edom, and that were in all the countries, heard that the king of Babylon had left a remnant of Judah, and that he had set over them Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan;

339
Now when all the captains of the forces which were in the fields, even they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed unto him men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of them that were not carried away captive to Babylon;

340
But when Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were with him, heard of all the evil that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had done,

341
Then Jeremiah the prophet said unto them, I have heard you; behold, I will pray unto the Lord, your Lord according to your words; and it shall come to pass, that whatsoever thing the Lord shall answer you, I will declare it unto you; I will keep nothing back from you.

342
The nations have heard of your shame, and your cry has filled the land: for the mighty man has stumbled against the mighty, and they are fallen both together.

343
We have heard the pride of Moab, (he is exceeding proud) his loftiness, and his arrogancy, and his pride, and the haughtiness of his heart.

344
Moab is destroyed; her little ones have caused a cry to be heard.
Moab is destroyed¿ her little ones have caused a cry to be heard.

345
For in the going up of Luhith continual weeping shall go up; for in the going down of Horonaim the enemies have heard a cry of destruction.

346
I have heard a rumour from the Lord, and an ambassador is sent unto the heathen, saying, Gather you together, and come against her, and rise up to the battle.

347
Therefore, behold, the days come, says the Lord, that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard in Rabbah of the Ammonites; and it shall be a desolate heap, and her daughters shall be burned with fire: then shall Israel be heir unto them that were his heirs, says the Lord.

348
The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red sea.

349
Concerning Damascus.       Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.

350
My bowels, my bowels!       I am pained at my very heart; my heart makes a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because you have heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.

351
For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail, and the anguish as of her that brings forth her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion, that bewails herself, that spreads her hands, saying, Woe is me now!       for my soul is wearied because of murderers.

352
The king of Babylon has heard the report of them, and his hands waxed feeble: anguish took hold of him, and pangs as of a woman in travail.

353
At the noise of the taking of Babylon the earth is moved, and the cry is heard among the nations.

354
And lest your heart faint, and you fear for the rumour that shall be heard in the land; a rumour shall both come one year, and after that in another year shall come a rumour, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler.

355
We are confounded, because we have heard reproach: shame has covered our faces: for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of the Lord's house.

356
We have heard the fame thereof: our hands wax feeble: anguish has taken hold of us, and pain, as of a woman in travail.

357
As a fountain casts out her waters, so she casts out her wickedness: violence and spoil is heard in her; before me continually is grief and wounds.

358
And now, because you have done all these works, says the Lord, and I spoke unto you, rising up early and speaking, but you heard not; and I called you, but you answered not;

359
The snorting of his horses was heard from Dan: the whole land trembled at the sound of the neighing of his strong ones; for they are come, and have devoured the land, and all that is in it; the city, and those that dwell therein.

360
I hearkened and heard, but they spoke not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done?       every one turned to his course, as the horse rushes into the battle.

361
For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, How are we spoiled!       we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast us out.

362
Lo, mine eye has seen all this, mine ear has heard and understood it.

363
Have you heard the secret of the Lord?       and do you restrain wisdom to yourself?

364
I have heard many such things: miserable comforters are you all.

365
Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but there is no judgment.

366
I have heard the check of my reproach, and the spirit of my understanding causes me to answer.

367
Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him?       but the thunder of his power who can understand?

368
Destruction and death say, We have heard the fame thereof with our ears.

369
When the ear heard me, then it blessed me; and when the eye saw me, it gave witness to me:

370
Now when Job's three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.

371
Surely you have spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of your words, saying,

372
After it a voice roars: he thunders with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.

373
I have heard of you by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye sees you.

374
It stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof: an image was before mine eyes, there was silence, and I heard a voice, saying,

375
Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house.

376
As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto him.

377
When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of the Lord, that the Son of the Holy Spirit might be glorified thereby.

378
Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid.       And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank you that you have heard me.
Jesus thanked His Holy Spirit Father for answering the prayer before the manifestation.

Jesus' soul was in complete agreement with His Holy Spirit.       It is for this reason that He was able to speak the Truth, to heal, to deliver and to do the miraculous.

When we receive the Mind Of Christ our soul comes into agreement with our New Spirit which is one with Christ's Holy Spirit.

The supernatural becomes the norm in such relationship.

379
When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.

380
On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

381
For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle.

382
The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spoke to him.

383
The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abides for ever: and how say you, The Son Of Man must be lifted up?       who is this Son of man?
A lack of understanding regarding the two advents of the Messiah caused the people, including His disciples, to doubt that He was the Messiah.

384
You have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you.       If you loved me, you would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Holy Spirit Father is greater than I.
Do we grasp the implication of what Jesus is saying here?
He is saying that if we really love someone, we will rejoice when they go to the Father.
Why?       Because the Father is greater than anything on earth.

To begrudge a person going to be with the Father is selfish and unloving.

Since the Holy Spirit is the Spirit Of Christ, Jesus is talking about leaving the confines of his human physical body and returning to the Spirit Realm (heaven) where His Holy Spirit and His glory are most evident.

385
Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knows not what his lord does: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
Jesus wants us to be like Him.       In so doing we fulfil His purpose in becoming our sacrifice for sins.       He had the Father send us the Holy Spirit whereby we too are Sons Of The Holy Spirit.

386
Why asks you me?       ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said.
Where are the witnesses against Christ?       There had been many attempts to find reason for charges against Him but they were all unsuccessful.

387
When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha.

388
When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid;
Pilate had been convinced of Jesus' veracity.       So, if Jesus had claimed to be the Son Of The Holy Spirit he partially believed it and was so afraid for the authority he had given the Jews to Crucify Him.

389
And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.
That is a testament to John's devotion to his calling.       He had touted the Messiah and when his disciples saw Him, they left John with no misgivings or guilt.

390
One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.

391
Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved says unto Peter, It is the Lord.       Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked), and did cast himself into the sea.

392
And what he has seen and heard, that he testifies; and no man receives his testimony.
John was losing followers just as Jesus would toward the end.

393
When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,

394
And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of your saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.
The Holy Spirit in Jesus convinced the unbelievers of Him.       The Holy Spirit in us will convince unbelievers today.

395
When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death.

396
And the Father himself, which has sent me, has borne witness of me.       You have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
Jesus is telling them that they have never and will never hear from the Father or see the Father except in Christ Jesus.

Jesus is the one and only expression of the Father in Word and in Spirit.       All other perceptions of Him are error.

Note that Jesus was speaking to Jews who worshipped the god of the Old Testament.       He was telling them that what they were worshipping was not really YHVH.       They were worshipping a wrong idea about YHVH.       So, He came to manifest the Truth about the Holy Spirit, YHVH.

397
It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of the Lord.       Every man therefore that has heard, and has learned of the Father, comes unto me.
Thr Holy Spirit is the Spirit Of Truth who draws us to Christ Jesus by impressing us that Jesus is the Lord.

398
Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
They were believing for the healings, loaves and fishes but not for Eternal Life.

399
The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him.

400
Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.

401
I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.

402
But now you seek to kill me, a man that has told you the truth, which I have heard of the Lord: this did not Abraham.
Abraham received every person who came from the Lord and believed their reports.

403
This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him.       But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.

404
And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

405
Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind.

406
Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Do you believe on the Son of the Holy Spirit?
The man was healed and now he has an opportunity for Eternal Life.       What a Saviour!

407
And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
Since they were standing in the presence of Truth and refused to accept it, they chose to stay in bondage to lies.

408
And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the Lord, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and you heard my voice.

409
Now it came to pass, when Adonizedec king of Jerusalem had heard how Joshua had taken Ai, and had utterly destroyed it; as he had done to Jericho and her king, so he had done to Ai and her king; and how the inhabitants of Gibeon had made peace with Israel, and were among them;

410
And it came to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor had heard those things, that he sent to Jobab king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king of Achshaph,

411
Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the Lord spoke in that day; for you heard in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the Lord will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the Lord said.

412
And the children of Israel heard say, Behold, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh have built an altar over against the land of Canaan, in the borders of Jordan, at the passage of the children of Israel.

413
And when the children of Israel heard of it, the whole congregation of the children of Israel gathered themselves together at Shiloh, to go up to war against them.

414
And when Phinehas the priest, and the princes of the congregation and heads of the thousands of Israel which were with him, heard the words that the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the children of Manasseh spoke, it pleased them.

415
And Joshua said unto all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness unto us; for it has heard all the words of the Lord which he spoke unto us: it shall be therefore a witness unto you, lest you deny your Lord.

416
For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when you came out of Egypt; and what you did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed.

417
And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the Lord, your Lord, he is the Lord in heaven above, and in earth beneath.

418
And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, which were on the side of Jordan westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, which were by the sea, heard that the Lord had dried up the waters of Jordan from before the children of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the children of Israel.

419
So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

420
And it came to pass, when all the kings which were on this side Jordan, in the hills, and in the valleys, and in all the coasts of the great sea over against Lebanon, the Hittite, and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard thereof;

421
And it came to pass at the end of three days after they had made a league with them, that they heard that they were their neighbours, and that they dwelt among them.

422
And when the inhabitants of Gibeon heard what Joshua had done unto Jericho and to Ai,

423
And they said unto him, From a very far country your servants are come because of the name of the Lord, your Lord: for we have heard the fame of him, and all that he did in Egypt,

424
And the children of Dan said unto him, Let not your voice be heard among us, lest angry fellows run upon you, and you lose your life, with the lives of your household.

425
(Now the children of Benjamin heard that the children of Israel were gone up to Mizpah).       Then said the children of Israel, Tell us, how was this wickedness?

426
And it was so, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream, and the interpretation thereof, that he worshipped, and returned into the host of Israel, and said, Arise; for the Lord has delivered into your hand the host of Midian.

427
And when Zebul the ruler of the city heard the words of Gaal the son of Ebed, his anger was kindled.

428
And when all the men of the tower of Shechem heard that, they entered into an hold of the house of the god Berith.

429
They have heard that I sigh: there is none to comfort me: all my enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that you have done it: you will bring the day that you have called, and they shall be like unto me.

430
You have heard my voice: hide not your ear at my breathing, at my cry.

431
You have heard their reproach, O Lord, and all their imaginations against me;

432
And when Moses heard that, he was content.

433
Bring forth him that has cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

434
For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which you see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which you hear, and have not heard them.
To see and hear the King of glory was a blessing that very few appreciated.

435
And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.
Mary had a heart for the Lord and the Truth that He taught.

436
Therefore whatsoever you have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which you have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
Whatever you sow will determine what you reap.

437
And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of heaven.
This man got it.

438
Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew near to the house, he heard musick and dancing.

439
And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.
Selling your principles for money makes you a Principle Prostitute.

440
Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lack you one thing: sell all that you have, and distribute unto the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
Devotion to Christ alone.

441
And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.
His allegiance was not unconditional.

442
And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?

443
And as they heard these things, he added and spoke a parable, because he was near to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of heaven should immediately appear.
The Millennial Kingdom was still way out in the future.

444
But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elisabeth shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.
Everyone associated with the Lord tells us to fear not and to be at peace.       This is a fundamental way we can discern the spirit of a person or cause.

445
And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit:
Her and the babe's physical reaction to the news caused Luke to conclude she was filled with the Holy Spirit.       Snce John was an Old Testament prophet I conclude that he and Elizabeth experienced the Holy Spirit as did others in the Old Testament.

446
And her neighbours and her cousins heard how the Lord had showed great kindness upon her; and they rejoiced with her.

447
And all they that heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be!       And the hand of the Lord was with him.

448
He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others.       And when they heard it, they said, The Lord forbid.
The Jews were rejected and the gentiles were grafted in.

The listeners understood enough of the Parable to be appalled at the catastrophe it spoke of for their society.

449
And they said, What need we any further witness?       for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.
Jesus statement that He is I AM was the evidence they needed to convict Him in their court.       His confession however was the Truth.

450
When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the man were a Galilaean.

And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him.

452
And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.

453
And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising the Lord for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

454
And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.
Jesus saught the Lord and was found of Him.       The Holy Spirit revealed the scriptures to Him that were hidden to those who did not hunger for understanding.

455
And he said unto them, You will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal yourself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in your country.
Carnal Minded people consistently fall back into unbelief.

456
And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,
Jesus is telling them that the Lord only responds to faith.       Their 'prove it to me' attitutde was offensive to the Lord.       His subtle rebuke of their unbelief angered them.

457
Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things you have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
The prophecy of the Messiah was being fulfilled in Jesus.

458
And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified the Lord, being baptized with the baptism of John.
When we repent we justify the Lord.       Refusal to repent denies the righteousness of the Lord and Justifies self.

459
And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant.
He used his leverage as a Roman centurion to have the Jewish elders approach Jesus.

460
When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
What Jesus was looking for in the Jews He foind in the Roman gentile.

461
And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
A plant cannot thrive if it is planted among weeds.

462
But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

463
But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.

Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by him: and he was perplexed, because that it was said of some, that John was risen from the dead;

465
Then they that feared the Lord spoke often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name.

466
And when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with James and John.
Carnal Minded reaction to a Carnal Minded request.

467
And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, you son of David, have kindness on me.
The cry for mercy is a humble confession of his unworthiness but great need.

468
And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of you hereafter for ever.       And his disciples heard it.
Jesus cursed the tree because it bore no fruit.

469
And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.
They made up their minds to destroy Jesus despite the many people that believed in Him.

470
And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?
If anyone knew what the first Commnandment was it would be a scribe.       So, why is he asking Jesus this question?

471
David therefore himself calls him Lord; and how is he then his son?       And the common people heard him gladly.
How can David's Lord be his Son?       By the one Lord becoming the Son Of Man who is the Lord Jesus Christ.

For those who need three persons understand that our Lord is not bound by physical laws or carnal reasoning.
    Jesus is Son
Jesus is the image of His Father
Jesus and His Father are one
Jesus was birthed by His Holy Spirit
    The Holy Spirit is Father
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit Of Christ Jesus
Jesus birthed Himself by His Holy Spirit
Jesus raised Himself by His Holy Spirit

This is true all at the same time so that Jesus is Lord, Father, Creator and Saviour.       Jesus is the express image of the One Lord (who is Spirit) which the entire Bible speaks about.

472
And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money.       And he sought how he might conveniently betray him.
'Finally we have a traitor to give us the inside information with which to accuse and destroy Jesus'.

We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.
prophecy can be interpreted in many ways to suit many purposes.

474
You have heard the blasphemy: what think you?       And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.
So, Jesus was guilty of speaking the Truth and for that they Crucify Him.

475
And some of them that stood by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calls Elijah.

476
And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.
Jesus told His disciples at least twice that He would be crucified and would rise from the dead.       They refused to hear what He said about that and so, when it actually happened, they did not believe.       It is important that we study the scriptures so that we can be convinced in our hearts about them.       Do not sluff over challenging passages but challenge yourself to believe them and practice them.

477
When Jesus heard it, he says unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Jesus facetiously refers to the ScribesPhariseesHypocrites as righteous.       They needed to repent more so than the rank and file jew.

478
And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.
As Jesus reputation grew He became a polarizing influence.       Either men believed on Him or they saw Him as a maniacal insurrectionist.

His friends did not want Him to be in such a position and so discouraged Him from His mission.

We should take note that those closest to us may not agree with the special plan of the Lord for us as it causes division with the status-quo group.

479
And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him.
The Gospel of Grace Through Faith draws people of all walks because it is about the love and mercy of the Lord.

480
And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan comes immediately, and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts.
Satan is the thief who steals the Truth and substitutes a lie.

481
And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
Shallowness, laziness and superficiality are recipes for failure.

482
When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
She was desperate but she believed.

483
As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he says unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
When we get a negative confession we should immediately confess the promise of the Lord.       Jesus told Jairus not to give up, that it was not too late.

484
And king Herod heard of him; (for his name was spread abroad:) and he said, That John the Baptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do show forth themselves in him.

485
But when Herod heard thereof, he said, It is John, whom I beheaded: he is risen from the dead.
So, Herod believed in the resurrection but not the resurrector.

486
For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.
Herod had some faith.

487
And when his disciples heard of it, they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a tomb.

488
And ran through that whole region round about, and began to carry about in beds those that were sick, where they heard he was.
Such faith and expectation that people stopped what they were doing and prepared for a host of healings and miracles.

489
For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:
people coming to Jesus in faith is the only requirement for deliverance, healing and salvation.

490
Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,
John will never leave prison and he is having doubts about his whole life's purpose which was to prepare for the Messiah.

491
But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow does not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
The enemy is immediately on the scene to accuse and undermine the work of the Lord.

492
For truly I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which you see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which you hear, and have not heard them.
Jesus is telling His disciples how precious their privilege is in being with Him in His earthly ministry.

493
At that time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Jesus,
despite Jesus' efforts to keep his fame from going abroad, Herod got wind of Jesus.

494
When Jesus heard of it, he departed there by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.
Jesus leaves the populated area for the desert because it was not yet time for Him to be taken and crucified.

495
Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Know you that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?
The Truth is always offensive to those who refuse to receive it.

496
And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were very much afraid.
It sems our natural state is fear.

497
But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
Commitment requires denying oneself for the things of the Lord.

498
When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
Because most people seek wealth how can anybody be saved.

499
And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brothers.
Carnal Minds flare up against other Carnal Minds.

500
And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have kindness on us, O Lord, you son of David.
The blind men honoured Christ by calling on His mercy and acknowledging that He is the promised Son of David - the Messiah.

501
And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spoke of them.
That was very perceptive of them considering how much delusion they were in.

502
When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.
They recognized the wisdom of His response and went away to do some further scheming.

503
And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.
Jesus effectively shut down the Saducee branch of judaism.

504
But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.

505
But when the king heard thereof, he was angry: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
Those who reject Christ will be destroyed.       They are tares.       He will send His angels to gather them and burn them.

506
Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He has spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses?       behold, now you have heard his blasphemy.

507
Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calls for Elijah.

508
In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.
More prophesy about the Christ being fulfilled.

509
But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there: notwithstanding, being warned of the Lord in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:
Now the Holy Spirit directs Joseph through a dream as to where to take Jesus.

510
When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
No political ruler wants to hear of a rival.       The people who heard the news were probably excited about the prospect of a king who would overthrow Rome.

511
When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

512
Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;

513
You have heard that it was said by them of old time, You shall not kill; and whoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
Here Christ makes sure they understand that they are all guilty of breaking the Law: "You shall not kill."

514
You have heard that it was said by them of old time, You shall not commit adultery:
Fidelity is a demonstration of integrity and faithfulness which are characteristics of the Lord our Father.

515
Again, you have heard that it has been said by them of old time, You shall not forswear yourself, but shall perform unto the Lord your oaths:
The need to swear is a sign that under normal circumstances one may tell lies.

516
You have heard that it has been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
This law is good because it controls evil by the threat of equal evil.

517
You have heard that it has been said, You shall love your neighbour, and hate your enemy.
This was an understanding under judaism.       It still causes them to be considered clannish for which they are despised by some people.       gentiles are considered enemies in traditional judaism.

Jesus is the last Old Testament prophet.
The Sermon On The Mount was given as a bridge between law and Grace.

Jesus extends the law in this Sermon, making every one a sinner, including the pharisees.
He never meant for us to implement His new laws on our own.       He knew we would be condemned by the new standards.

The standards that are laid out reflected in His sermon are aspects of the nature of the Lord, which judaism did not understand and so did not teach or live by.       These impossible standards infuriated the self-righteous Scribes Pharisees And Hypocrites.       And so they rejected Jesus, the Truth, about the Lord and His love, mercy and Grace.

For those who followed Jesus and heard Him teach, they came to understand that the condemnation that is implicit in the unreachable standards of the Sermon On The Mount were prophecies of the transformed life that He would make possible through His death, resurrection and sending us His Holy Spirit.

518
But when you pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
The Lord is the most intelligent being in the unverse.       He hears us the first time we speak.       As a matter of fact, He knows what we need before we even ask.       On top of that, He knows the imagination of the thoughts of our hearts.

Prayer?       Keep it simple.       Keep it sincere.

519
When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Truly I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
Faith with no unbelief results in the power of the Lord being released.

520
But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
Thr Holy Spirit will lead you to and bring to you those whom you should minister to.

521
And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard.
A heathen is not only a person who worships a false god, but one who also violates the laws of the True and Living Lord Almighty.

It is the violation of those laws that corrupts himself, society and even nature.       Such must be destroyed in order to restore creation to health.

In the Day Of Wrath those who have rejected the Lord Jesus Christ, choosing rather a heathen existence, will be destroyed along with the works of their hands such that the earth is cleansed of even their memory.

522
Behold, I am against you, says the Lord of hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour your young lions: and I will cut off your prey from the earth, and the voice of your messengers shall no more be heard.

523
Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for the Lord had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.

524
Now it came to pass, when they had heard the law, that they separated from Israel all the mixed multitude.

525
And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the Lord of heaven,

526
When Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, heard of it, it grieved them exceedingly that there was come a man to seek the welfare of the children of Israel.

527
But when Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arabian, heard it, they laughed us to scorn, and despised us, and said, What is this thing that you do?       will you rebel against the king?

528
But it came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we builded the wall, he was angry, and took great indignation, and mocked the Jews.

529
And it came to pass, when our enemies heard that it was known unto us, and the Lord had brought their counsel to nought, that we returned all of us to the wall, every one unto his work.

530
But it came to pass, that when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the walls of Jerusalem were made up, and that the breaches began to be stopped, then they were very angry,

531
And I was very angry when I heard their cry and these words.

532
Now it came to pass, when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and Geshem the Arabian, and the rest of our enemies, heard that I had builded the wall, and that there was no breach left therein; (though at that time I had not set up the doors upon the gates;)

533
And it came to pass, that when all our enemies heard thereof, and all the heathen that were about us saw these things, they were much cast down in their own eyes: for they perceived that this work was wrought of our Lord.

534
And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the Lord, your Lord; mourn not, nor weep.       For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.

535
Therefore you delivered them into the hand of their enemies, who vexed them: and in the time of their trouble, when they cried unto you, you heard them from heaven; and according to your manifold kindnesses you gave them saviours, who saved them out of the hand of their enemies.

536
But after they had rest, they did evil again before you: therefore left you them in the hand of their enemies, so that they had the dominion over them: yet when they returned, and cried unto you, you heard them from heaven; and many times did you deliver them according to your kindnesses;

537
And did see the affliction of our fathers in Egypt, and heard their cry by the Red sea;

538
And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord: and the Lord heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the Lord burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.

539
Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door of his tent: and the anger of the Lord was kindled greatly; Moses also was displeased.

540
And they said, Has the Lord indeed spoken only by Moses?       has he not spoken also by us?       And the Lord heard it.

541
And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that you Lord art among this people, that you Lord art seen face to face, and that your cloud stands over them, and that you go before them, by day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.

542
Now if you shall kill all this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of you will speak, saying,

543
How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me?       I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me.

544
And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face:

545
And when we cried unto the Lord, he heard our voice, and sent an angel, and has brought us forth out of Egypt: and, behold, we are in Kadesh, a city in the uttermost of your border:

546
And when king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south, heard tell that Israel came by the way of the spies; then he fought against Israel, and took some of them prisoners.

547
And when Balak heard that Balaam was come, he went out to meet him unto a city of Moab, which is in the border of Arnon, which is in the utmost coast.

548
He has said, which heard the words of the Holy Spirit, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:

549
He has said, which heard the words of the Holy Spirit, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:

550
And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.

551
But if her husband has utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband has made them void; and the Lord shall forgive her.

552
But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establishes all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirms them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them.

553
But if he shall any ways make them void after that he has heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity.

554
And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.

555
But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the Lord shall forgive her.

556
And king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.

559
For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that you had heard that he had been sick.
Caring for and having compassion one for another.

560
Those things, which you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the Holy Spirit of peace shall be with you.
Be a follower of Paul as he follows Christ.       In so doing Holy Spirit peace will manifest in you.

561
Whoso stops his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.

562
Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:
When we repent, we come back into agreement with Spiritual Law and the law giver.       Accordingly, we move into restoration and blessing.

563
Lord, you have heard the desire of the humble: you will prepare their heart, you will cause your ear to hear:
Our Lord blessed the humble with the Gospel truth, healing them of all their diseases.

564
I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my supplications.
We all love the Lord for what He has done for us.

Those that do not love the Lord do not understand His love for them.

565
I will praise you: for you have heard me, and art become my salvation.
The reality is that we hear Him and receive His Words resulting in our salvation.

566
I have declared my ways, and you heard me: teach me your statutes.

567
In my distress I cried unto the Lord, and he heard me.
The Lord hears us at all times.       But many times we do not call upon Him until we are in distress.       This is not wise.       We are to walk in the Spirit since we live in the Spirit.

568
Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.
We find the Lord when we seek Him because He is found in our spirit.       Location and structure are irrelevant.

569
In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my Lord: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
Even when our faith is weak, we can call upon the Lord and be delivered.

570
There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
Every nation, tribe and race see the handiwork and hear what it speaks about our Creator.

571
Save me from the lion's mouth: for you have heard me from the horns of the unicorns.
Satan's attemtps to destroy the Messiah failed.       Jesus was delivered by the Word of the Lord.

572
For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither has he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.

573
Blessed be the Lord, because he has heard the voice of my supplications.
We aught always praise the Lord for answered prayers.

574
For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.

575
For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before your eyes: nevertheless you heard the voice of my supplications when I cried unto you.

576

This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

578
But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that opens not his mouth.
We have to turn away from both the criticisms and praises of men in order to receive the peace of the Lord.

579
I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill.       Selah.
It is important to speak to the Lord though He knows the thoughts of our hearts.       Our gift of language is an aspect of our creation in His image.       speaking to Him draws upon that relationship,

580
I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
The Lord knows our needs before they are known to us.       In Christ Jesus all those needs have already been.       They are waiting for us in Heavenly Places to be appropriated by faith.

If there is a time lapse between the asking and receiving understand that that should be no matter to us as we trust His goodness.

581
We have heard with our ears, O Lord, our fathers have told us, what work you did in their days, in the times of old.
Rehearsing the wornderful past blessings of the Lord is important to overcome the present challenges.

582
As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our Lord: The Lord will establish it for ever.       Selah.
Whatever the Lord proclaims will manifest.       His Word establishes things.

583
For you, O Lord, have heard my vows: you have given me the heritage of those that fear your name.
He knows our heart, our commitment to Him and He receives us in His love.

584
The Lord has spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongs unto the Lord.
Everyrhing exists by the Lord and for the Lord.

585
But truly the Lord has heard me; he has attended to the voice of my prayer.
He loves us and has provided all things for life and godliness In Christ Jesus.

586
O bless our Lord, you people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:
Who is our the Lord?
He is Christ Jesus whose name is to be praised in all of heaven and earth.       He is worthy.

587
Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity; for the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping.
Commanding the enemy is our responsibility and we do it because we know our defender and our deliverer.

588
The Lord has heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.
This is a statement of faith that the Lord hears and responds to our requests.       It is where we must stand until our faith becomes sight.

589
You did cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,

590
Therefore the Lord heard this, and was angry: so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger also came up against Israel;
israel had rejected a personal relationship with the Lord but demanded His blessings.

Can the idolatry of Self Worship be any more explicit?

591
Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.
Itis critical that we pass the knowledge and appreciation of the Word on to our children.

We are Born Again by the Word and the Holy Spirit.

592
When the Lord heard this, he was angry, and greatly abhorred Israel:
It appeared the Lord abhorred but He did not.       He hates sin but He loves people.

Our Lord proved that in dying for the sins of the whole world.

593
This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.
The point of the feasts is something regarding Christ Jesus.

594
Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of your judgments, O Lord.
The earth will respond by coming back to life as its Creator comes to redeem it from the effects of sin.

595
And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
The Lord does not enjoy passing judgment and administering punishment.       But, He must do it because of His righteous integrity.

Accordingly, He does not want this very ugly picture to be recorded and so propagated.

596
And the voice which I heard from heaven spoke unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which stands upon the sea and upon the earth.
Now the vision has ended.       It is time to go forth and preach the Gospel and the prophecies.

597
And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up here.       And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
And the last miracle is that they ascend into heaven.

598
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our Lord, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brothers is cast down, which accused them before our Lord day and night.
There is no more accuser before the Lord.       It is now a simple matter of Satan deceiving as many as he can before the end.

599
And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yes, says the Holy Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
With the Spirit Of Antichrist on the rise and Christians unprepared to deal with Satan's final push before Christ returns, physical death is not a bad thing.       It is a release from the struggle and entrance into the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Do not begrudge 'untimely deaths' for those who are in Christ.

600
And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
At the end of the Day Of Wrath there will be great rejoicing on earth and in heaven.

601
And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of the Lord upon the earth.
The command is given to reap the tares, bind them and burn them.

602
And I heard the angel of the waters say, You are righteous, O Lord, who is, and was, and shall be, because you have judged thus.
water is necessary for physical life.

603
And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments.
The Lord is righteouse in all His ways including His judgment.

604
And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in you; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in you; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in you;
The machinery of the world economy will grind to a halt never to be reactivated.

605
And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in you; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in you: for your merchants were the great men of the earth; for by your sorceries were all nations deceived.
Our current administration (Biden) is practicing sorcery by insituting policies that are touted as good while in reality they are self-destructive.

606
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.
At some point in the near future a line will be drawn such that those who cross it become part of the problem that is the world system of finance, business, conversation and politics.

607
And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto our Lord Jesus Christ:
represent a view of the glory and joy that results from our Lord's return.       The calling to the Marriage Supper is the rapture that occurs as soon as the Lord appears in the sky and the last trump is blasted.

describe the Day Of Wrath that immediately unfolds as soon as the bride is taken up from the earth.

608
And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord omnipotent reigns.
The Lord reigns in fact after the end of man's reign here on earth.       And that is something to rejoice about.

609
I was in the Holy Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
John was worshipping in the Holy Spirit - possibly praying in tongues when he experienced the revelation.

610
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of the Lord is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and the Lord himself shall be with them, and be their Lord.
Is this our future or our present or both?       It is both

Each of us have a body and that body is the temple of the Holy Spirit .
We are bought with the price of Jesus' blood .
We are now Sons Of The Holy Spirit .

But, we have not yet been fully redeemed.       Our Spirit is new, but our soul and body are waiting for redemption which will occur at His appearing.

At Jesus' return we will see the perfect fulfillment of this prophecy.       Our faith will then be sight as we see Him face to face

Until then, walk in newness of life in the Holy Spirit and the Word by faith .

611
And I John saw these things, and heard them.       And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things.
John who is the 'disciple whom Jesus loved', who saw our Lord resurrected and ascended, who was filled with the Holy Spirit and who penned the wonderful Gospel is awestruck by the angel who gave him the revelation, so much so that he fell down to worship him.       But John was not yet glorified.       When we are glorified at the appearing of Jesus we will be made more glorious than any of the angels.       And this is to the praise, glory and honour of our Lord, Saviour and King Jesus.

612
Remember therefore how you have received and heard, and hold fast, and repent.       If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on you as a thief, and you shall not know what hour I will come upon you.
Christians are to pay attention.       We are not to sleep or be lazy.

613
After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up here, and I will show you things which must be hereafter.
Pre-trib believers interpret the phrase 'after this' to indicate the church is silently raptured and no longer on earth.
That is a big assumption.

What John is actually communicating here is that the things which he will see and tell about happen after the day that he received the vision.       They are things that will happen after 95 AD.

614
And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
An innumerable host of angels are praising Christ Jesus.

615
And every creature who is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sits upon the throne, even unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
Who sits upon the throne?       The king.
Who is the king?       Jesus.
What is the lamb?       It is a role that the king played for the purpose of salvation.
Only one can sit upon the throne.
So the king and the lamb are the same person - Christ Jesus.

The phrase 'unto him that sits upon the throne and upon the lamb' tells us that the Holy Spirit is the one who deserves 'blessing and honour and glory and power' for His work in the lamb, Christ Jesus.       Note the use of the words 'unto' and 'upon'.       We give worship unto the Holy Spirit through worshipping Christ Jesus upon whom the Holy Spirit has given glory.

Many people attempt to find the Lord and worship Him.       But the Holy Spirit ( God) cannot be found except through the person of Jesus who is the Strait Gate and the Narrow Way.

Every creature that has ever lived will one day praise the majesty and His lamb.

Jesus is no longer a lamb.       He is Mighty God.       When reference is made of Him on the throne and Him as the lamb, we need to understand that the one on the throne is the lamb.       But His role as lamb is finished.

616
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
The lamb represents the Lord Jesus Christ
    who has made salvation possible,
who has made His will on earth as it is in heaven possible and
who has made possible the completion of His Plan.

617
And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.

618
And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see.       And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
With the world economy disrupted by the war against the antichrist, famine will ensue.

619
And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see you hurt not the oil and the wine.
A penny (denarius) in the first century was usually equal to a day's wages, and the amount of grain given here is just enough to keep a person alive.       This indicates hyper-inflation will occur.

620
And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.

621
And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
At this point it appears that the Time Of The Gentiles has ended.       Now, we see the seal of the Lord being applied to jewish believers.

622
And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
As if the preceding events were not terrible enough, the three remaining trumpets will release unimagineable suffering and death.

623
And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before the Lord,
The voice is not the Lord's voice.       It is coming from a being who is before the Lord.       Likely it is Satan.       Because mankind is submitting to him on earth he is exersizing the authority man has given him over the earth.

624
And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
These angels will inspire the human leader (China?) of a great military force of 200,000,000 men to march toward israel.

625
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed?       and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard?       and how shall they hear without a preacher?
Reversing the order we find that:
    a preacher must be sent
the preacher must preach the Gospel
the hearer must believe the Gospel
the believer must call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ
the Holy Spirit and Word birth them into the kingdom

626
But I say, Have they not heard?       Yes truly, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
The prophets foretold the sacrifice of the lamb and the coming of the King to inherit the throne of David.

627
But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand.
Bad information is worse than no information at all.       This is because, before you can sow, you must first uproot.

628
Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the Lord had visited his people in giving them bread.

629
The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;

630
Thus says the Lord of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that the Lord is with you.

631
I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.
