 God gave us three things when we were born:
1) Life
2) MoralSensitivity
3) TheMeasureOfFaith

Our Life is not just existence but the ability to Think to Reason and to Speak.

Even Atheists agree that there is a common set of basic Moral principles in all people.

Our ability to Believe and Hope is enables us to grasp concepts higher than ourselves and to reach for those things that are not currently in hand.

HumanGoodness is the product of the above gifts from God. As is the case with all things in the PhysicalRealm it is a shadow of that which is Perfect.

Since it is only a shadow and not the real thing we see HumannGoodness fail in terms of how people treat other people. And so Jesus gave this Commandment:

And the second is like unto it, You shall Love your Neighbour as yourself. - Mat 22:39
To Love someone you must also Love whom they Love.

As with all His Commandments, Jesus did not expect HumanGoodness to be able to perform this Commandment.

And Jesus said unto him, Why call you me Good? there is none Good but one, that is, God. - Mar 10:18
Jesus is getting to the orientation of the man's Heart and his understanding of who he is talking to and what he is actually asking for. Joh 17:3

Any thing that man attempt to do solely from a HumanGoodness perspective is doomed to Failure because of the SinNature which ultimately dominates all our Behaviour.

Then he answered and spoke unto me, saying, This is the Word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by Might, nor by Power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of hosts. - Zec 4:6
HolySpirit, Empowerment


I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much Fruit: for without me you can do nothing. - Joh 15:5
The Vine is Jesus.
The Life that is in Jesus is the HolySpirit.

We cannot abide in Jesus nor can Jesus abide in us. We abide in the HolySpirit and He abides in us.

The HolySpirit that fills Jesus makes us branches of Jesus by virtue of the HolySpirit birthing us in response to Faith in Jesus.

The Fruit that we bear is SpiritFruit. Without the HolySpirit we can do nothing of Heavenly value.

In the above the Word points out to us that God must be the Inspiration and Power to do anything that is truly Good.

However, our God wants His Children to be like Him and to do Good. So, He has given us His Spirit to shape our Hearts, our Thinking, our Actions and to effect Good results.

I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. - Phi 4:13
I can deal with any circumstance by the Strength of Christ.

So, we need to Understand clearly that is always Foolish to Trust in men who are not SpiritFilled. They are unworthy of our Trust. Only God who Loves us is worthy of our Trust.
