HumanEffort

Actually, there is no such thing as HumanEffort because God gives Life to Humans. Without Him we would not ever exist.

However, because God gave man FreeWill along with Life there is the potential for man to act independently of God.

The problem with this kind of HumanEffort is that man was not created to operate independently from God. And so, the best efforts of man always fall short and end up being corrupted by other men.

But we persist in believing in and attempting more and more HumanEffort pretending that God (Good) and Satan (Evil) do not exist. History is filled with stories of men with good intentions who ended up failing, either directly or indirectly by corrupted success.

I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. - Mar 1:8

John knew that the purpose of the Messiah - to prepare Hearts for receiving the HolySpirit.

And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry you in the city of Jerusalem, until you be endued with power from on high. - Luk 24:49

Being baptised with the HolySpirit is God's Will for us. It is necessary for us to be BornAgain so that we may Receive Him. When we are Filled we Receive the Power of God into our own Body.

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. - Act 2:4

SpiritBaptism is necessary for a powerful Life in Christ. Yes, we are BornAgain and given the Gift of EternalLife by Faith in Jesus Christ. That is necessary for us to be SpiritFilled.

Some people Receive the HolySpirit Baptism at the same time as they are BornAgain, but most do not.
Primarily, this is a result of not being taught to expect the HolySpirit Baptism.
Secondly, there has been no demonstration of SpiritBaptism.

And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto you in the way as you came, has sent me, that you might receive your sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. - Act 9:17

Jesus came that we should Know the Truth and see Light. In that Light we understand the plan of God to Believe and Receive the HolySpirit and be in Eternal Intimate Relationship with God.

So, we see that Jesus came that we might be SpiritFilled and empowered to do the Work of God as partners with His HolySpirit.

This is the prescription for our efforts to be Good and not be corrupted by Evil.

Your kingdom come. Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. - Mat 6:10

God's Kingdom is coming. His Will is for Earth to operate like Heaven where there is uninterrupted Life, Love, Joy, Peace, Faith and Blessings.

When we are SpiritFilled and begin to Do the WordOfGod we will see our effort produce Heavenly things on Earth.
