And they clothed him with purple, and platted a crown of thorns, and put it about his head, - Mar 15:17

And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe, - Joh 19:2

Jesus was humiliated by the soldiers in accordance with Prophecy .

Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe.     And Pilate says unto them, Behold the man!    - Joh 19:5

"Doesn't that satisfy you?     Seeing Jesus abused and mocked?"

And every man that strives for the mastery is temperate in all things.     Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown ; but we an incorruptible .    - 1Co 9:25

Therefore, my brothers dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown , so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved .    - Phi 4:1

Paul is speaking to brothers in Christ whom he led to Christ and whom he longs to see .     He exhorts them to Stand Fast in the Lord .     That is something that each of us must wilfully and purposely determine to do .

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing?     Are not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?    - 1Th 2:19

A believer longs to see others become believers and so be a part of the resurrection at our Lord's appearing.

And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.    - 2Ti 2:5

We must do it the right way .

Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.    - 2Ti 4:8

This is our assurance as it was of Paul.      Christ our Lord is looking forward to rewarding us for our Faith in Him and our Work in His vinyard.

You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honour, and did set him over the works of your hands: - Heb 2:7

But before the fall we walked with God in the cool of the day, kept the garden and ruled the Earth .

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.    - Heb 2:9

Our Lord has defeated Death, Hell and the Grave .     In so doing, we can Live through Him.      Do you See Jesus ?     He is the Holy Spirit in you with whom you Fellowship .

Blessed is the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to them that love him.    - Jam 1:12

The Temptation is Persecution for Christ's sake.     There is no Glory in being tempted by Sin .     Such tempting is a sign of immaturity - that we are still Carnal Minded .

And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive a crown of glory that fades not away.    - 1Pe 5:4

We serve Him because we Love Him.     Our Reward is Jesus .

Fear none of those things which you shall suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that you may be tried; and you shall have tribulation ten days: be you faithful unto death, and I will give you a crown of life .    - Rev 2:10

Persecution will come but those who stay true till death will wear a crown of life .

Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which you have, that no man take your crown .    - Rev 3:11

We must dig in because Satan will try to steal our authority and power .     He will use men in positions of political, social and economic power to attack you.

And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.    - Rev 4:4

These are believers who have not yet but will receive honor in the Judgment Seat Of Christ .      This is indication that what John is seeing is what will be, not what has been.

The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that lives for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, - Rev 4:10

Those who have been redeemed and rewarded cast their honour back upon Christ Jesus who is creator, saviour and their very life .

And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.    - Rev 6:2

This is the antichrist .     He receives power (a crown ) from the globalist world leaders.      Note that he conquers but there is apparently no war .      He uses the authority they give him to implement his fascist, binding objectives .

And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.    - Rev 9:7

Some have speculated that these are flying machines releasing chemical and bacterial agents upon the people .

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: - Rev 12:1

This is likely Israel with the man-child being the 144000 Jewish converts .

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.    - Rev 12:3

Satan comes against Israel who is now turning to Christ Jesus .

And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns , and upon his heads the name of blasphemy .    - Rev 13:1

Beast indicates an animalistic person devoid of the touch of God .     The sea is the people of the world .     The heads, horns and crown represent the heads of nations who will support him.      Blasphemy indicates a total disregard for God .

And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown , and in his hand a sharp sickle.    - Rev 14:14

Two sickles appear at the return of Christ: 1) one in the hand of Christ 2) one in the hand of the angel The sickle that Christ wields will be to gather the dead and the living to Himself .      The sickle that the angel wields will be to gather the enemies of Christ for the Day Of Wrath .

His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns ; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself .    - Rev 19:12

He is no longer the lamb but He is King and Lord of all.
