The answer to 'who raised Jesus' is critical to our faith
Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
Who loves Jesus?     The Father.
Who is the Father?     The Holy Spirit.

Jesus laid His life down and then He took it up again.
How did He take it up?     By His Spirit - the Holy Spirit.

Our soul must be in agreement with our spirit in order for us to be at peace with ourselves, to have self-repect, to feel good about ourselves.
Jesus is saying that His Holy Spirit is pleased with what He has humbled His Mind and Body to perform.

And killed the Prince of life, whom the Holy Spirit hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.
`You killed Him but His Holy Spirit raised Him.

He was dead but now He is alive and we saw Him.`

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom the Holy Spirit raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
The Name Of Jesus incorporates the purpose, the life and the hope of Christ Jesus.

Those who murdered Him did not want to hear His name, yet Peter clearly accuses them of His murder and proclaims Christ Jesus as healer of the lame man.

But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on our Lord Jesus who raised Himself from the dead;
Jesus raised Himself from the dead .

It is faith In Christ Jesus that saves a person.

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
The Sin Nature which we were born with is a result of Original Sin .      It was crucified with Christ.

By Faith in Christ Jesus we are Born Again - made New Spirit beings .

Your mind, emotions and body were not crucified with Christ.     You must crucify them by acts of your will.
let this mind be in you -
    mortify your members -
submit yourselves to the Lord -
    resist the devil -
    present your body -
follow peace with all men -
have faith in the Lord -
and so on.

All the action verbs above indicate that our soul (mind, emotions and will) are not instantly perfected in the New Birth as our spirit is .

This verse says that we have Newness Of Life but we must walk in it.     `Walk` is an action verb implying that we have to knowingly and willfully decide to let the New Spirit being manifest.
Otherwise, it won`t.

Spirit Salvation is instantaneous.
Soul Salvation is a process totally dependent on our will while we are in the flesh.

At His return Jesus will finish His redemption work by translating us from corruptible to incorruptible .

In the meantime, our Lord expects us to press toward the mark .

Immersion into Christ Jesus is the point of baptism.     It is not a one time event but a for-all-time state of absorption into His Holy Spirit so that He is in us and we are in Him.

But if His Holy Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, His Holy Spirit that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Holy Spirit that dwelleth in you.
This is one of those verses that nominal Christianity has gutted.

Yes, the Holy Spirit is the One who will change us from corruptible to incorruptible at the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ .

However, we now have the `quickener` in us to make us alive today.     He is the One who implements the provisions of Grace in our lives according to our faith in the Word Of The Lord.

Unless we walk in the Spirit we will not experience the power that He represents.

We walk in the Spirit by calling into play the Word Of The Lord - hearing, believing, receiving and doing it (He Be Re Do).

All things for life and godiness are ours , but they are appropriated according to the power that works in us .

We are not to be sick, weak or poor.     We are supposed to be healthy, strong and prosperous.     And we can be in the Holy Spirit and the Word.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that the Lord hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
This is the encapsulation of Grace, clearly pointing out our part which is faith in Jesus and confession of Him as risen Lord and Saviour.

The implication of our part being to believe on Jesus Christ and confess Him as risen Lord, is that He has done everything else!
It is why we call it amazing Grace!
It is why the gospel is nearly too good to be true!

Who raised Jesus from the dead?
He raised Himself by His Holy Spirit .

Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, even by the Holy Spirit Father, who raised him from the dead;)
Paul did not just decide to become a Christian and then an apostle.     He had an encounter that convinced him of Christ Jesus as the Truth.     He earnestly sought out other Christians and was Baptised with the Holy Spirit.

He was then led by the Spirit to Arabia where he was taught the Gospel of Grace Through Faith.     Upon getting that revelation he returned to Judea and met with the Christian leadershiip and began the ministry that the Lord Jesus had given him - to the gentiles.     So, Paul humbled himself to the calling of the Lord who raised him up to apostleship,

Here Paul acknowledges
the physical part of the Body Of God
          1) shed blood
          2) resurrection
          3) Damascus vision
the verbal part of the Soul Of God
          1) teaching
          2) revelation
the spiritual part of the Spirit Of God
          1) New Birth
          2) leading
that the Spirit Soul And Body played in His calling and preparation.

This is one God who now manifests
    as Spirit Soul And Body
    in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
The Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus raised Him from the dead .

Jesus is seated at the right hand of The Majesty.

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
We are looking to the return of our Lord to complete our redemption.

Accounting that the Lord was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
Abraham`s body was dead when Isaac was conceived so Abraham knew that death was not an issue for the Lord.

Who by him do believe in the Father, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in Christ Jesus.

For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
Jesus quickens, or makes alive, by the power of His Holy Spirit.

Jesus has given us His Holy Spirit by whom we are to quicken others by imparting Him to them.
