Why is there unanswered Prayer?
- God does not honor our requests when He would have to violate someone else's will to do so.
- God has also constrained Grace to access only by Faith.
- Unbelief negates Faith.
- Fear negates Faith.
- Ignorance of God's Love undermines Faith.
- Fear of Judgment from God undermines Faith.
- Unworthiness undermines Faith.
There is so much Ignorance, Fear and Unbelief in the world today it is amazing when any Prayer is answered!
This verse in Gal 3:1 is very appropriate for us today:
O foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ has been evidently set forth, crucified among you? - Gal 3:1
How do we obey the Truth? We believe what God has said and ignore any report to the contrary.
As much as God loves us he will not overlook Unbelief when we are in need.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. - Heb 11:6
It pleases God for us to receive the provisions of Grace but they are only accessed by Faith - HeartFaith.
he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. - Heb 11:6b
We must believe that He will ALWAYS reward those who diligently (in HeartFaith) seek Him.
Unfortunately, we have come to 'believe' that God sometimes rewards and sometimes doesn't. This belief is an affront to God who is not a respecter of persons and to His Word which is denied by such belief. Furthermore, it guarantees that the person who believes wrongly will NOT receive what they ask for.
Jesus said this:
Nevertheless when the Son of man comes, shall he find faith on the earth? - Luk 18:8b
We need the kind of Faith that produces Works (results - see Jam 2:17-26) and that kind of Faith is HeartFaith in the Word of God to the exclusion of anything and anyone to the contrary.
God forbid: yes, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That you might be justified in your sayings, and might overcome when you are judged. - Rom 3:4
We are judged when we pray. Is our prayer of Faith or is it tinged with Doubt? Overcoming is receiving the answer to the Prayer and that is Proof that the Prayer was in HeartFaith. If the Prayer is not answered it was prayed with some tinge of Doubt and Unbelief.
We must live by every Word that proceeds from the Mouth of God. Not to do so, renders us Weak and ineffective.
How many people (Christians) do you know who Believe the Word of God in the face of negative reports from their doctor? The answer to that question will tell you how much real HeartFaith there is in the Body.
Without HeartFaith in Christ Jesus and His Word we will continue to experience UnansweredPrayer.
