Soulish

We are born into this World with a Dead spirit (SinNature) and a vibrant Soul - Mind and Emotions. We spend most of our lives operating out of our Soul. When we are BornAgain as NewSpirit beings we are so used to being Soulish that the NewSpirit is typically ignored.

This is why the Word teaches us to exercise ourselves in the NewSpirit being. We must break the habit of being Soulish and move into the SpiritRealm in our Minds and Hearts.

And be not conformed to this world: but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. - Rom 12:2

Conformity is Good when it is to the HolySpirit. Otherwise it is Evil. In order for the NewSpirit being to manifest in our Flesh, we must be Transformed in Mind and Emotions (our Soul). When we are Transformed we Receive the Wisdom and Power of God to do the Work of Christ Jesus in our mortal bodies. Those Works are the proof of the acceptable and Perfect Will of God

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. - Gal 5:25

Since we have NewLife by the NewSpirit it only makes sense for us to Walk in the Spirit. Walking implies that our Physical lives are different - that we Talk differently, that we Do differently.

Jesus is fully man and He is fully God. He was not born with the SinNature that the rest of us were. But He had to learn submission to the Father. When He was Baptised with the HolySpirit He was empowered to Walk in the Spirit. He went to the wilderness fasting and praying until He was totally conformed to the Will of the Father. When He left the wilderness He was prepared to Walk in the Spirit.

To Walk in the Spirit is to Believe and Appropriate the Promises of God while fellowshipping with Him in the HolySpirit.

Without SpiritBaptism we are incapable of being anything other than Soulish. It is the HolySpirit who manifest the Character of God in us by His SpiritFruit. It is the HolySpirit who quickens our mortal bodies enabling us to mortify the Lust of the Flesh.

For if you live after the flesh, you shall die: but if you through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live. - Rom 8:13

Serving the Flesh is a dead end. By turning our attention to Spiritual matters we will cease to serve the Flesh.

Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: - Col 3:5

In order for the NewSpirit being to manifest we must willingly and purposely bring our bodies under subjection to the NewSpirit. This is only possible by the Power of the HolySpirit working in our Minds and Emotions.

SoulSalvation is the process by which we move from being driven by the Soul to being led by the Spirit.
