The real question is: "How do we NOT touch Jesus!?"

For those of us who have been born of the Word and Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus by faith in who He is, what He said and what He did, there should never be a moment when we are unaware of His touching us and our touching Him.

After all, His Holy Spirit abides in us and we are one with Him . How can we not touch Jesus!

Unfortunately, the enemy steals revelation from us. Even some of the words in the above paragraphs no longer hold the meaning they once did. There is no excitement, only passive agreement.

if this is the case with you and you would like to touch Jesus, do the following:
→ stop what you are doing
→ stop what you are thinking
→ turn your mind and heart to the Truth
→ begin to thank and praise Him for what He has done for you
→ allow the Holy Spirit to begin praise Him through your voice
→ stay in His presence
→ listen to His voice
→ allow Him to touch you while you are still

When you arise from such a time of fellowship you will know that you were touched by Jesus, that you are touched by Jesus and that you will always be touched by Jesus.
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you a different Comforter, that He Himself may abide with you for ever; -
Our Creator is a Spirit.     He is the Holy Spirit.     Jesus came to redeem us so that we can be born of His Spirit and be filled with His Spirit.     In other words, Jesus came that we may receive the Father into us and that we may be in the Father .
We have Eternal Life in the Holy Spirit.     We experience Abundant Life in this physical life as we are transformed by the Holy Spirit and the Word to the Mind Of Christ.
If you are not in perfect peace, if you have any fear, you need the comforter - the Holy Spirit.     ask the Father for His Holy Spirit and He will give Himself to you.

Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but you know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you. -
Jesus is the Truth.     His Spirit is the SpiritOfTrith.     The Spirit Of Truth is the Holy Spirit.
Why do people, including Christians, not receive the Holy Spirit, the Spirit Of Christ?     They cannot see Him.
We receive the Holy Spirit by asking in faith just like we received remission of sins and were Born Again.     Both come by and through our Lord Jesus Christ.

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. -
The Holy Spirit is comforter.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit Of Christ.
So, Jesus lives in us and comforts us by His Spirit.

Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more; but you see me: because I live, you shall live also. -
This is an awesome promise!
Because Jesus rose from the dead, so shall we.
Because Jesus operated in power, so shall we.
Because Jesus experienced Abundant Life, so shall we.
Jesus is not physically seen but we see Him spiritually by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We are made alive by the indwelling Holy Spirit who is life.

At that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. -
What day is He referring to?     Two days:
1) Pentecost
2) Return
On the day of Pentecost the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit - the same spirit that made Jesus the Christ.     They went about doing His words and people took note that they had been with Jesus.
At His return everyone will see Him and every knee will bow with every tongue confessing that Jesus Christ is Lord.     We will return with Him in glorified bodies to rule and reign with Him.

He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. -
Obedience to the Word is evidence of having a Love Of The Truth which invokes the Father's love for us. Such hungering and thirsting after righteousness is rewarded with the manifestation of Christ ( Holy Spirit) in and through us.
Jesus is specifically talking about the infilling of His Holy Spirit. It is in His Holy Spirit that He manifests Himself to us.

When two or three are gathered in His name, Christ Jesus manifests in their midst . This is the recipe for revival.
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. -
The fact that this statement is addressed to the church at laodicea implies that they have shut Christ out of their operation. It is in fellowship with Christ by His Spirit according to His Word that we sup with Him.
