It is rebellion which is as the sin of witchcraft.   

It is choosing darkness rather than light.   

It is choosing delusion over Truth.   

It is choosing death over life.   

It is rejecting a personal relationship with Christ Jesus.   

But it is also seeking knowledge and experiences outside of that which the Lord has designed for us to know and experience.   How do we pursue Forbidden Fruit?   
   → by reading books
   → by listening to music
   → by watching videos (TV, movies, You Tube, etc).
   → by being educated

You say that all those are not evil and I agree with you.   But the content may be evil.   

That is where you have to exercise good judgment and self control by laying aside those that have evil content or evil agendas.
