For unto us a Child is Born, unto us a Son is given: and the Government shall be upon his shoulder: and his Name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Of the Increase of his Government and Peace there shall be no end, upon the Throne of David, and upon his Kingdom, to Order it, and to establish it with Judgment and with Justice from henceforth even for ever. The Zeal of the LORD of hosts Will perform this. -
Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. -
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. -
Glory to God in the highest, and on Earth Peace, Good Will toward men. -
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. -
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All Power is given unto me in Heaven and in Earth. -
Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. -
And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. -
And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. -
And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. -
