The Great Tribulation is the result of mans rebellion against the Law Of The Lord.   

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Mat 24:22 Note that the things that happen during the Great Tribulation are not caused by the Lord.      The Lord cuts the days short to save humanity, specifically the elect.      If He were the cause of the Great Tribulation He could just stop it The Holy Spirit Father will send Christ Jesus back in order to save humanity from total destruction.

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Mat 24:21 The Great Tribulation will make travel and commerce difficult.     Especially for those who have not received the mark, name or number of the beast.

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which stands for the children of your people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. Dan 12:1

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: Mat 24:29 The Day Of The Lord has come.

And I said unto him, Sir, you know.     And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Rev 7:14 Our robes are white by the blood of the lamb.     Standing true to the testimony of Jesus Christ is all we can do be acceptable.      During the Great Tribulation there will be enormous pressure on believers to deny Christ Jesus.     Some will deny Him to their doom Mat 10:33.      Those that remain true to Christ will likely be martyred for their faith Rev 13:17 Mar 13:9.

And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. Rev 13:1 beast indicates an animalistic person devoid of the touch of the Lord.     The sea is the people of the world.     The heads, horns and crown represent the heads of nations who will support him.     blasphemy indicates a total disregard for the Lord.

And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. Rev 13:2 The amalgamation of parts from different animals speaks to the globalist nature of his support.     He is empowered by the nations and people who have come under the influence of the Spirit Of Antichrist.     Once he is seated Satan will sanction and empower him to destroy humanity.     Dan 7:4-8

And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. Rev 13:3 I suspect that the head that is wounded to death is America.     The economic path we are on is weakening us so that we will be near death when a 'compromise with the Devil' is done to bring us back.     Because we are 'saved' by the beast we will begin to worship him.

And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast?     who is able to make war with him? Rev 13:4 The beast will accomplish this short-term miracle in 'saving' the world from financial collapse and so most everyone will begin to trust him and give him more power, His support will be so strong that there will be no possibility of opposing him.

And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. Rev 13:5 The beast will be a great orator unencumbered by truth so that he lies and blasphemes with impunity and great effect.     But, he will only be in power for 3 1/2 years.

And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against the Lord, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. Rev 13:6 A major thrust of the beast will be to eradicate religion.     So, he will disdainfully speak of the Lord and humiliate those who believe in the Lord.

And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. Rev 13:7 The people of the earth will enable and encourage him to come against Christianity.     He will overcome Christianity in the sense that he makes it illegal, confiscates church properties and denies the right of Christian to participate in the world financial system.      In coming against religion and overcoming Christianity he will effectively exercise power over everyone and every nation.

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Rev 13:8 Because of his control of the world financial system he will effectively have the attention of all people, demanding and receiving obedience to all his edicts, and enlisting and gaining their trust.      In other words, they worship him.

If any man have an ear, let him hear. Rev 13:9 This revelation is for those who have an ear for what the Lord is doing in the earth and what Satan is doing to undermine the Lord's plan.

He that leads into captivity shall go into captivity: he that kills with the sword must be killed with the sword.     Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. Rev 13:10 judgment is coming.

And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon. Rev 13:11 This is the False Prophet.     I nbelieve this is a media mogul who controls information and aligns himself politically with the antichrist.

And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. Rev 13:12 The False Prophet is the spokesperson for the beast, enabling his agenda and bringing the world under his dominion.

And he does great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, Rev 13:13 This is a false miracle.     It will be done with technology but it will be effective in deceving the gullible.

And deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. Rev 13:14 The political power of the beast takes on a religious character as the faith of the people is placed on the beast.

And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. Rev 13:15 technology will be the foundation of the power of the False Prophet and the beast.     information and business will be in a stranglehold by this pair.

And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: Rev 13:16 This will enable digital identification of each person in the system implemented by a microscopic chip implant.

And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Rev 13:17 Unless you can authenticate to the digital currency system by the identification chip implant you will be unable to do monetary transactions.

Here is wisdom.     Let him that has understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. Rev 13:18 Six being the number of man, the significance of 666 is man, man, man to the exclusion of the Lord.

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. Dan 9:27

Seventy weeks are determined upon your people and upon your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Dan 9:24

And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples says unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here! Mar 13:1 Man has built some magnificent structures around the world and the Temple in Jeruslem was one of such structures along with those buildings around its court-yard.

And Jesus answering said unto him, See you these great buildings?     there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. Mar 13:2 Jesus is speaking of the destruction of jerusalem that will happen 40 years later.

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, Mar 13:3

Tell us, when shall these things be?     and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled? Mar 13:4

And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: Mar 13:5 Deceit is Satan's number one tool for destroying an individual.

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Mar 13:6 I believe He is saying that people will be using His name to promote false teaching.

And when you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be you not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. Mar 13:7 Wars are a sign of people not being connected to the Lord through Jesus Christ.     Jam 4:1

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in diverse places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. Mar 13:8 Nations are either sheep or goats.     goats will war among themselves and against sheep nations.      War results in famines.      Natural disasters are a result of the chaos in men's hearts.

But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues you shall be beaten: and you shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. Mar 13:9 Persecution comes when Christianity is not dominant in a society or nation.     religious people who are not In Christ will persecute true believers the hardest.     It was religious people who brought Jesus before Pilate and Herod.      Notice that Jesus says that our persecution and prosecution will be used as a testimony against them.     This indicates that Christ takes rejection of the Gospel very seriously.

And the gospel must first be published among all nations. Mar 13:10 The Lord is fair.     the Lord is just.     Hence, He will use His disciples to preach and teach the Gospel in all nations before the Day Of Wrath and The Judgment come.

But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what you shall speak, neither do you premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak you: for it is not you that speak, but the Holy Spirit. Mar 13:11 The Holy Spirit will give us the unction and the Utterance to say exactly what should be said, knowing the hearts of the people before whom we stand.

Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. Mar 13:12 We are seeing division ramping up because it is a primary tool of Satan to destroy humanity.      When the Lord is not the final authority then opinion gets inordinately elevated.     Satan uses his power to influence the Sin Nature in the unbeliever to cause him to form wrong opinions for which he becomes Religiously attached.

And you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Mar 13:13 Those who are not In Christ will eventually actively hate those who are In Christ.     That hatred will lead to severe persecution and Isolation.     Only those who stand true to Christ will be saved.

But when you shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that reads understand), then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: Mar 13:14 The Anti Christ will brazenly blaspheme the Lord and do acts to who his disdain for Him and those who serve Him.     Because the persecution will be severest in Judea people are encouraged to leave their homes and flee into the mountains.

And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house: Mar 13:15 The destruction is coming fast.     There will be no time to prepare.

And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment. Mar 13:16 No time for preparation.

But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! Mar 13:17 The unmerciful vengeance of Satan upon humanity will be especially hard on the weak and young.

And pray you that your flight be not in the winter. Mar 13:18 Pray that the timing of these events does not occur during bad weather.

For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which the Lord created unto this time, neither shall be. Mar 13:19 The Lord does no Afflict.     Satan is the Afflicter through sin and Men.

And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he has chosen, he has shortened the days. Mar 13:20 So, the elect ( Christians) living during this time of Great Tribulation.     But Christ will return to stop the downward spiral to destruction.

And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: Mar 13:21 Those Christians living during the Great Tribulation (especially those who believe in a Pre Trib rapture) will be anxiously looking for Christ.     But Christ will not come until the End Of The Age.

For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. Mar 13:22 When you are primed to believe and expect something there is a vulnerability to be deceived about that something.      Satan can do false signs and wonders.     Only those who are In Christ will be able to discern the spirit of deception.

But take you heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. Mar 13:23 Take these words to heart.     do not forget them.

But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, Mar 13:24 This will precede the return of Christ.

And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. Mar 13:25 More signs in the heavens at the time of His appearing.

And then shall they see the Son Of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. Mar 13:26 Jesus will appear in glorious light just as the natural sources of light dim.

And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. Mar 13:27 As Jesus appears in the sky, the angels reap the Earch of His elect - first the dead in Christ and then we which are alive and remain.     And so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near: Mar 13:28 The sign of israel beginning to put forth her leaves as an independent nation.     Summer is not the time of harvest but it is the time of growth.

So you in like manner, when you shall see these things come to pass, know that it is near, even at the doors. Mar 13:29 Harvest is in the Fall.     The feast of trumpets is in the Fall.     The Lord returns at the Last Trump.

Truly I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done. Mar 13:30 The generation that Jesus is talking about is the Age Of Grace or Time Of The Gentiles.

Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. Mar 13:31 The Lord s Word will stand forever.

But of that day and that hour knows no man, no, not the angels who is in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Mar 13:32 We don't know the day or hour but we can know the week, the month and the year.     But, we must be watching and praying to do so.

Take you heed, watch and pray: for you know not when the time is. Mar 13:33 We don't know the specific time.

For the Son Of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Mar 13:34 Jesus left the kingdom in our hands to grow it by the power of His Holy Spirit and the Gospel of Grace Through Faith.

Watch you therefore: for you know not when the master of the house comes, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Mar 13:35 Jesus will return when most are not expecting it.     So watch!

Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. Mar 13:36 The sleep Jesus is talking about is apathy, unawareness and slothfulness.

And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. Mar 13:37 Be diligent to the Word and Holy Spirit.     Be found in the fields laboring.
