The spirit of slap comes over me every time I do a search for information and I begin to read but am unceremoniously interrupted by a popup which if I am not careful results in me leaving the page I am interested in.   

Most of the time I just leave the page that may have what I am interested in because in reality I don't need the information enough to endure such Overbearing, inconsiderate treatment by the page owner.   

Sidebars are bad enough but at least they don't jump in your face and shout at you.   

Yes, I would actually like to punch the web page developer for his/her impudence.   

I think these web page developers are the same people that block traffic, turn over and burn cars.
