Title: A task for which an authority has placed responsibility upon a subordinate for completion

Have you ever been assigned a task for which you felt unqualified?

Such a situation probably caused you to dread working on the task.

You probably felt the fear of failure and the consequences.

You could have gone to your boss and refused the task - put it back in their lap. (not a good career move).

You could have muddled through the task, wasting time and resources) and ultimately failed. (again, not a good career move)

You could have sought help from a co worker with experience in that area to help get you started and provide insights when you hit snags, ultimately completing the task and gained a new skill. (a good career move)

We are Children of God. PTL!
But we are also Servants of Jesus Christ.

When we stand in the judgment seat of Christ we will be assessed as either "good and faithful servant" or as "an unprofitable and wicked servant".

You may be thinking; Could we pick another topic to talk about?

No, we must talk about this because it is part if the Truth that sets us Free.

So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. - Rom 14:12

So, what is my Assignment? , you may be thinking.

But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. - Act 1:8

I can't give any more specifics. You will have to work that out in Prayer and Meditation in the Word.

But, remember this: Just like the task that was mentioned earlier, your Assignment from Christ can be a success or failure.

You will be successful if you take on the task with Joy, Courage and Confidence that you can do anything through Christ who strengthens you. Phi 4:13

Go forth in Jesus' name and do exploits! Dan 11:32b
