Vandals are not so much human as "brute beasts". When people lower themselves to the level of animals, is it a wonder that civilized people treat them as such?
Why was there a period in our history when people were lynched? Because civilization cannot exist where there is lawlessness.
The price was paid by people of character who administered severe punishments to the lawless to ensure a future for our country.
Because no one now pays the price to demand accountability we see our civilization vanishing before our eyes.
