The ridiculous hoarding of toilet paper is mostly comical.
If you go the grocery store and the shelves are empty of food, you won't laugh.
Because of the length of time to produce food, any food that is destroyed or fails to be processed and put in the food chain, there is the distinct possibility that the reserve supply of food will be exhausted before the next crop is ready for market.
