And whoever lives and believes in me shall never die.     Believe you this? Joh 11:26 In order for us to appropriate the truly miraculous we must believe that it has already been provided 2Pe 1:3.      Death is cessation of life.     Those In Christ will never know what cessation of life is.     When their body stops functioning they will immediately, without interrupt be alive in the presence of Christ Jesus 2Co 5:8.      Contrast this with the state of all those not In Christ Jesus.     They live in fear of death and so are in bondage to it all their lives Heb 2:15.

This verse tells us that if we live in Christ and believe in Christ we will never die.   

That is an awesome promise!   

We understand to some extent what it means to believe In Christ Jesus.   Do we understand what it means to live in Christ?   

We live In Christ by virtue of His Holy Spirit inside of us Joh 14:17 and we inside of Him Phi 3:9.   

The Spirit Of Christ is the Holy Spirit.   

For Christ to be in us we must be filled with His Holy Spirit.   

It is His Holy Spirit in us that seals us Eph 4:30 .   

It is His Holy Spirit that quickens us (makes us alive) Rom 8:11 .   

It is His Holy Spirit that empowers us Luk 24:49 .   

It is His Holy Spirit who comforts us Joh 14:16 .   

It is His Holy Spirit who helps us Rom 8:26 .
