In the prophet Daniel we read of an image whose feet are iron mixed with clay.   

And whereas you saw iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. Dan 2:43 This is the compromised church which tries to create a union between the Children Of God and the Children Of Satan.

This passage is speaking of a people of Faith (iron) who try to assimilate with a non-believing people (clay).   

This union will not work because of the difference in material.   They cannot be combined.   

The result of the attempted union is conflict and weakness.   The last days of the age of Grace will be marked by this Dis Unity.   

In a similar fashion many who profess to be Christians are double-minded.   
On the one hand, they want to believe while on the other hand they lean to their own understanding.   

This state is an irreconcileable state of conflict and weakness in the individual just as the conflict between iron and clay is irreconcileable.   

A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. Jam 1:8 Weakness is the terrible manifestation of being Double Minded.

And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt you between two opinions?     if the Lord be the Lord, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him.     And the people answered him not a word. 1Ki 18:21 This is the question and marching order of the day.      There is no middle ground to stand on.     We either stand on the rock, Christ Jesus, or we stand in the quicksand of Baal.      I am afraid that the answer Elijah received is the one still echoing today.

The promises of God that are provided by Grace come by Faith.   It is not sufficient to merely desire the blessings of God.   

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to the Lord must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Heb 11:6 Believe that    → Jesus is Mighty God    → Jesus is loving and giving    → Jesus will reveal Himself to those who seek Him    → Jesus Himself is your exceeding great reward Gen 15:1 Joh 17:3 Faith is the power to appropriate what Grace has provided.     It pleases the Lord Jesus for us to receive what He has made available to us.     2Co 8:9

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering.     For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. Jam 1:6 Ask in Heart Faith which is not weakened by unbelief Mar 9:24.      Head Faith is the starting point but it is always tempered by doubt and unbelief.      Jesus talked about continuing in His Word and keeping His Word Joh 8:31 Joh 14:23,24.      Faith must move from your head into your heart in order to appropriate the provisions of Grace.      Being able to operate in Heart Faith is a function of your mind being transformed to the Mind Of Christ Phi 2:5.      Jesus believed every Word that came from the Father`s mouth Mat 4:4 and so must we in order to operate in power and authority as He did Joh 14:12.

For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. Jam 1:7 Believing and doubting at the same time is a terrible state to be in.     It is the absence of pure faith and keeps us from receiving what the Lord has provided for us by Grace Through Faith.

So, God`s requirement is that we really believe what He says even to the point of denying everyone else.   

The Lord forbid: yes, let the Lord be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That you might be justified in your sayings, and might overcome when you are judged. Rom 3:4 Until we are willing to believe the Word Of The Lord regardless of `evidence` to the contrary, we are not prepared to appropriate Grace Through Faith.

Are we going to continue cutting bait or are we going to start fishing?   

It is time for us to prove our Faith by our Works.   

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. Jam 2:26 Works are necessary for needs to be met.

In order for the Works to manifest we must have pure Faith - Faith that proceeds from the Holy Spirit in accordance with the Word.   

If you are halting between two opinions recognize that the enemy is playing with your head.
