 Wealth The love of money is the root of all evil. Power The desire to control people and resources has historically led to the rise of Totalitarianism, Dictatorahips, Monarchies and resultant human rights violations. Lying "I am running for you the people". "We need more laws". "We must raise taxes". "Every problem requires a government solution". These lies have been typical signs of PoliticalCorruption from the beginning.

"Intelligence officials are reporting" is just as meaningless as "nameless whistleblower". Rumors can never be denied or confirmed without real witnesses. They are likely fake and being created for political purposes.

"The president is a Russian asset". "The president is undermining our Constitutional foundation". These lies are outlandish particularly when there is no private or public evidence to support it.
