Every homeless person I have met has rejected what we call "normal" society. They don't want to be part of the system. This is their choice. As with every choice that a person makes, there are consequences not of their choosing.

By enabling any person we become part of the problem. Our larger cities are being deluged by the homeless. Why do they go there? More enablers.

It is important for Christians to understand that Christ never enabled anyone. He healed them and forgave their sins. At times He warned them against worse things coming upon them if they continued in their lifestyles.

"The wages of sin is death". This is a spiritual law that will play out in every human life unless an enabler comes along to deflect or mitigate the consequences.

Christ did not call us to be enablers. He commanded us to preach the Gospel to every creature. For what purpose? So they could choose life and live. There is no plan B in Christianity.

"For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." - Rom 10:13

"He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be damned." - Mar 16:16

Pretty clear, isn't it? Salvation and damnation do not pertain only to the afterlife. They pertain to this life as well.

So, the SecularHumanists and Socialists will continue trying to save humanity by enabling. It makes the enabler feel good and it helps the enabled in the short term. But, the number of homeless will only increase as more enablement occurs.

Anyone with a compassion for the homeless should go to Los Angeles and minister by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ . That is the only way they will be saved. They must be born again.
