But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols , and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood .    - Act 15:20

That you abstain from meats offered to idols , and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if you keep yourselves, you shall do well.     Fare you well.    - Act 15:29

Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry .    - Act 17:16

As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols , and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication .    - Act 21:25

You that say a man should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery ?     you that abhor idols , do you commit sacrilege?    - Rom 2:22

Everyone who believes in performance based righteousness makes themselves unrighteous by virtue of their conviction .

Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters ; for then must you needs go out of the world .    - 1Co 5:10

But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater , or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.    - 1Co 5:11

Know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God ?     Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters , nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, - 1Co 6:9

Carnality stifles Spirituality and robs a person of Abundant Life .      Rom 8:6 The specific Sins of Carnality enumerated in verses 9 and 10 all boil down to Self Worship which is the same Sin that derailed Lucifer .     The first Commandment precludes Self Worship which is Idolatry .

Now as touching things offered unto idols , we know that we all have knowledge .      Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies.    - 1Co 8:1

As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols , we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.    - 1Co 8:4

Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol ; and their conscience being weak is defiled.    - 1Co 8:7

Weak, Conscience

For if any man see you which have knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols ; - 1Co 8:10

Neither be you idolaters , as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.    - 1Co 10:7

Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry .    - 1Co 10:14

What say I then?     that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?    - 1Co 10:19

But if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols , eat not for his sake that showed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof: - 1Co 10:28

You know that you were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols , even as you were led.    - 1Co 12:2

And what agreement has the temple of God with idols ?     for you are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people .    - 2Co 6:16

Oneness, Will

Idolatry , witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, - Gal 5:20

These Sins earn the wages of Death .

For this you know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater , has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God .    - Eph 5:5

Be clear on this: Whoremongers, Unclean people, Covetous people and Idolators have no Inheritance in the Kingdom Of God .

Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil strong sexual desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry : - Col 3:5

In order for the New Spirit being to manifest we must willingly and purposely bring our bodies under subjection to the New Spirit .     This is only possible by the Power of the Holy Spirit working in our Minds and Emotions .

For they themselves show of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; - 1Th 1:9

Deliverance is an important aspect of of being Born Again .     Not only are we forgiven and redeemed but we are alse delivered from bondage .

For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: - 1Pe 4:3

All that is past should be forgotten.

Little children, keep yourselves from idols .      Amen .    - 1Jn 5:21

Don't let anything come between you and the Holy Spirit .

But I have a few things against you, because you have there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols , and to commit fornication .    - Rev 2:14

But the minister did not correct those who were committing sins .

Notwithstanding I have a few things against you, because you suffer that woman Jezebel, which calls herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols .    - Rev 2:20

But the minister has allowed the spirit of Jezebel to operate in the church leading to fornication and slackness.

And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: - Rev 9:20

Men are so disconnected from God at this point, that calling on His name does not even occur to them.     They are Secular Humanists by religion and so trust only in man to solve man's problems .

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters , and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death .    - Rev 21:8

It is interesting that of all the vile sins that are enumerated here, the first two are the sins of fear and unbelief .      It could be that these two sins are the seeds from which all other sins sprout.

For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters , and whoever loves and makes a lie .    - Rev 22:15

Those who reject Christ will not enter into the Kingdom Of God, the Millennial Kingdom, the New Heaven And Earth or the New Jerusalem .
