The terms "sons of belial " or "children of belial " identify people who have come under the dominion of Satan.   Such people are often aggressive atheists, Idolators, homosexuals, rapists and murderers.   

The first mention of belial (or his children) is in Deuteronomy.   

Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which you have not known; Deu 13:13

So, the implication of this verse is that anyone who draws honour and worship away from the True And Living God ( Christ Jesus) is a child of belial - Satan.   

We are not all children of God.   Some people are children of belial - children of Satan.   

Since Satan is a master deceiver he transforms his children to appear to be good, kind, generous all the while drawing people away from God.   

We see the children of belial at work in our society today.   They are the ones who call good evil and evil good.   

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Isa 5:20 Jesus is Light, Truth and Good.      Everyone is invited to the throne of Grace.      But those who love darkness and evil cannot come to it as they see it as evil.      In that same vein, they redefine all good as evil and all evil as good.

In the Old Testament anyone, even family members, who drew people away from the Lord God to server other gods were to be put to death!   

Jesus Himself had damning words to say about children of belial though He did not call them by that name:

But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Mat 18:6 Cutting a child off from the knowledge of the Lord's love is a capital crime

Jesus wasn`t talking about hurting a child`s feelings.   He was talking about hindering the process by which they would come to know Him as Lord and Saviour.   

This is exactly what the government is doing with its stranglehold on education at all levels.   It has been repressing the knowledge of God for 50 years and actively promoting atheistic socialism which is the political arm of the Secular Humanism religion.   

In Judges 19 there is an account of how the "sons of belial " assaulted a man`s home who was providing shelter to a traveler and his concubine.   The "sons of belial " came to take the traveler and sexually abuse him (homosexuals).   

After much haranguing the owner of the convinced them to take the traveler`s concubine (obviously with the traveler`s consent.   

The "sons of belial " raped her all night and finally killed her leaving her leaning upon the door.   When the traveler saw what happened he took his concubine`s body and divided it into 12 pieces distributing it to the tribes of Israel with the account of what the "sons of belial " had done.   

The people of the other tribes were incensed.   They raised an army of 400,000 men to come against the city of Gibeah which had protected the "sons of belial " .   The tribe of Benjamin where Gibeah was located raised an army of 26,000 men.   

The 11 tribes set siege against the 1 tribe of Benjamin.   After each sortee Phineas the High priest would ask the Lord whether they should continue the assault.   Each time the Lord said "yes".   After a succession of sortees all but 600 of the 26,000 men of Benjamin were dead.   

What is the message here?   

The homosexual "sons of belial " were apparently not seen as evil by the men in Gibeah.   Furthermore, the whole tribe of Benjamin did not see the "sons of belial " as evil.   why else would they fight for them?   It was not a casual acceptance of the "sons of belial " that would lead 26,000 men to go to battle and die for them.   

Evil had taken over the majority of the tribe of Benjamin.   They had given themselves over to homosexuality, violent Heterosexuality, and murder (see abortion).    And they were willing to die for their "lifestyle"

Because Phineas asked God after each battle whether or not they should continue the assault indicates that Israel was ready to be merciful.    But God was not.   

God had destroyed sodom and gomorrah completely for a similar incident.   God had defined homosexuality as and abomination and the penalty was death.   God was prepared to destroy the entire tribe of Benjamin for its wickedness.   

Who knowing the judgment of the Lord, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. Rom 1:32 Christians appreciate the support of likeminded believers but they do not depend on them.     Whereas unbelievers need their support group because of the guilt that they can't escape.

We are living is the " Grace period".   God has not changed His mind about sin and evil.   Jesus did not come to redefine sin.   He came to forgive it.   

But the benefits of that forgiveness can not be accessed without Repentence.   Repentence requires that a person receive the sacrifice of Christ Jesus for their sins and His lordship over their lives.   

Repentence requires a change in the way a person thinks about God, themselves and others.   Rejecting the holiness of God and His standards precludes a person from receiving His Spirit.   Unless a person is born of God`s Spirit they cannot enter the kingdom of God.   

Our Society has followed the "sons of belial " on a path that rejects God and elevates sensuality, individuality and self-worship.   

Be not deceived; The Lord is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap. Gal 6:7 The Law of Sowing And Reaping is immutable.     It will play out in every situation.      To Sow evil seed (sin) is foolish resulting in destruction and death Rom 6:23.      Use the Law of of Sowing And Reaping to your advantage by sowing good seed bountifully 2Co 9:6.      Sin has consequences - even though they are forgiven.     This is a hard concept for many believers to grasp.      The Lord is not angry but when we violate His Word, there are negative consequences.      Thankfully, when we keep His Word we experience the blessing.

This verse guarantees that God`s wrath will be poured out upon the "children of belial "

Jesus put it this way: " I tell You, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.    " Luk 13:3

The fact that 26,0000 (virtually all the men of the tribe of Benjamin) died defending their right to reject God and His laws is an indication that numbers don`t matter.   

Public opinion does not matter.   legislation does not matter (I suspect the tribe of Benjamin voted as to whether or not to go to battle to defend wickedness).   

The fact that your child is doing it doesn`t matter.   

There is a hell and it is prepared for those who meet the following requirement:

The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget the Lord. Psm 9:17 This is the Law Of The Lord and it is immutable.      Understand that hell is a destination of destruction, misery and death.     This verse is telling us that every nation that forgets the Lord Jesus Christ will fall into destruction, misery and cease to exist.      Hell will be cast into the Lake Of Fire at The Judgment.     Rev 20:14

Christ commanded His disciples, His follower to preach the Gospel to every creature.   This command still stands today.   (Your children and your neighbors are creatures).   

For anyone who has not received Christ Jesus as Saviour and Lord you need to do so now.   I can assure you, any argument that you have will not stand in the day of judgment.   

If your name is not in the Lamb`s Book of life you will be cast into hell.   This is because God defines morality and God is just.   He destroyed others who rejected Him and He will destroy You.   

That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that His Holy Spirit has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. Rom 10:9 This is the encapsulation of Grace, clearly pointing out our part which is faith in Jesus and confession of Him as risen Lord and Saviour.      The implication of our part being to believe on Jesus Christ and confess Him as risen Lord, is that He has done everything else!      It is why we call it amazing Grace!      It is why the gospel is nearly too good to be true!      Who raised Jesus from the dead?      He raised Himself Joh 10:17,18 by His Holy Spirit Rom 8:11.

For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Rom 10:10 It is Heart Faith that enables the miracle of the New Birth.      It is our personal confession of Jesus as Mighty God, Creator and loving Saviour that seals that miracle.

When you do the above you will be Born Again of the Holy Spirit and you will cease being a "child of belial " - cease being a child of Satan.
