Title: Attempt to deceive someone into believing that one can or will do something

In the game of poker the best hand does not always win.

That is what makes poker such a fascinating game.   You never know how your hand stacks up against your opponents hand.

When to pass, call or bet and the amount of the bet is a big part of working your opponent to optimize your winnings.

If you have a good hand, you are cautious with betting so that your opponent puts more chips in.

If he raises you, you must consider whether or not it is a sign of strength or merely a Bluff.

"Every hand is a winner and every hand is a loser" in poker.

What would it be like to always have an unbeatable hand?   I don't know whether Alfred Hitchcock or Rod Serling ever had an episode like this but it would be an interesting one to observe.

What would it be like if you always had a losing hand?   You say you would quit the game!

Faith is the awareness, the Confidence that you have a winning hand.

Satan always has a losing hand.   But he doesn't always lose.

How can he win if he doesn't have a winning hand?

He Bluffs.

Bluffing in poker causes the opponent to Doubt the strength of his hand.

If enough Doubt exists, his opponent may fold a winning hand and thus lose the pot!

If we do not understand the strength of our hand we may fold and give our enemy the victory.

What if you opponent Bluffs an amount that you can't match?

You go all-in.

Going all-in is standing on the strength of your hand win or lose.

But, in Christ you are always the Victor - if you stand fast in His Strength by Faith.

You may not be a poker player, a gambler, but the Enemy is.   He is a Liar and the chief of them.

Bluffing is pretending you have strength when you don't.

You can call Satan a Liar , a Deceiver or a Bluffer.   Regardless, his hand is always Weak.   He is Defeated

    Unless you fold.

" Fight the good Fight of Faith.   Submit to God.   Give no Place to the Devil.   Resist the Devil and he will flee."

Get in the game, go all-in and watch the Lord Manifest Victory through you!
And Jesus answering says unto them, Have Holy Spirit Faith.
The disciples were amazed at the withered fig tree and wanted to know how Jesus did this to the tree.

Jesus answers them very succinctly by telling them to believe with Holy Spirit faith.

Jesus did not come to show off and then leave us in awe.     He came to:
    clean us up
    teach us
    empower us
    to be like Him.

Jesus is telling us to operate in the supernatural faith of His Holy Spirit.

Note: The word 'in' is not in the original Greek phrase which the KJV translates as 'Have faith in God'.     It should have read 'Have God faith' or 'Have the faith of God' rather than 'faith in God'.

Since we know that God is Spirit (making Him the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus), this phrase should best be rendered as 'Have Holy Spirit faith'.

Remember, Faith is one of the Spirit Fruit.

Unfortunately, this is another example of how the ' God being' was given an existence separate from the Word and Holy Spirit as a result of the translators' trinitarian concept of the Creator.

Jesus goes on in this passage to tell His disciples to just speak (word) and believe ( Holy Spirit faith) and their desires would be met.     There is no indication that some other being is involved in the process.

Even, the 'when you pray' statement of is misunderstood to reference a ' God being' when Jesus instructed us to pray to our Heavenly Father who is His Holy Spirit.
