5 If any of You lack Wisdom , let him Ask of God , that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him Ask in Faith , nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man Think that he shall Receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
God is stable. He expects us to be stable as His Children.
We cannot be stable without being Single Minded.
Being Double Minded is debilitating. It undermines our potential.
We must have the Mind of Christ in order to Manifest our potential as Sons of God.
The battle between the Sin Nature and the New Nature will continue until we become Single Minded.
Our Minds must be Transformed to the Mind of Christ.
Being Single Minded about Christ is an Act of your will.
In order for the Mind of Christ to begin Manifesting through you , you must crucify the Flesh.
We crucify the Flesh by rejecting the Lust of the Flesh , the Lust of the Eyes and the Pride of Life. This is an Act of our Will.
Once we do that, we can Receive the Word of God as the final Authority over all the Issues of Life.
We can Ask and Receive , Seek and Find , Knock and See the door opened.
We cannot just want the Mind of Christ. We must give ourselves over to it.
We cannot exercise the Mind of Christ like we do a talent. We must become the Mind of Christ. We must be Transformed to it.
Until we do so, we are Double Minded which results in us not operating in the Grace and Power of God. We have cut ourselves off by the Unbelief that is the characteristic of being Double Minded.
When we are Double Minded we stay in the "I Believe but Help my Unbelief " state.
Choose to Believe the Word. "Let God be True but every man a Liar ".
When you Choose to Believe the Word , Christ will move into your Mind changing the way you
See and Think and Act. Your Mind Will be Transformed from being Double Minded to Single Minded.
You will then begin to experience Grace upon Grace .
