These verses tell us that we ultimately become the servants of our WorldView where our Heart is.
Each person is either Saved or Lost . There is no middle ground.
That being the case, the Kingdom of Heaven cannot grow without the kingdom of satan diminishing and vice-versa.
This is a ' ZeroSum coompetition'.
When two individuals on a team vie to be the MVP this is a 'non - ZeroSum competition'. This is because the team wins either way and the loser can revel in that even in a personal loss.
For many years American were on the same team. Virtually everyone believed in God and Country. So, in Congress there could be compromises for the team ( America ) that, on the individual Representative's side, appeared to be a loss, but the country won.
There is no stasis between God and Satan . Neither is there stasis between Capitalism and Socialism .
Now we know that Satan is defeated by the Victory of Christ Jesus . But those who reject Christ will lose with their master.
There is no guarantee of Capitalism defeating Socialism .
As Americans we need to understand that the days of 'non - ZeroSum compromise' are gone. The struggle
we are in today is a ZeroSum one in which either Capitalism or Socialism prevails.
