Matthew 11:12
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and the Violent take it by Force .
This is an interesting passage.

I don't think the Kingdom of Heaven can be threatened or taken against God's will. That would mean God is not all-powerful.

Rather I read the word, "suffereth" as "allows"; the word "violence" as "force"; and the word "violent" as "forceful".

So, I understand this verse to mean that God has opened the Kingdom of Heaven to be accessed by Faith to receive the things of God .

This is consistent with: "ask, seek, knock" teaching "say to the mountain" teaching "whatsoever you desire" teaching etc.

This interpretation is consistent with "the Kingdom is at hand (or nigh)" teaching which implies the Kingdom is "within reach" which means that a person can just take it.

So, I believe Jesus was telling us that we have been given the Kingdom but we must aggressively take the promises of God by Force of Faith.

There are too many wimpy prayers of "Oh God, please help" nature. Jesus Spoke or touched and Healed . He did not ask the Father to do it. "He took it by force" - the force of faith and action.

I believe this is the example we should follow. We should expect God's Love , Grace and Power to Manifest when we Speak to the mountain, to the Disease , to the Demon . We take the Blessings that God has provided aggressively rather than passively.

Just as our Lord did.
