These cases are a carryover from the impeachments by the democratic-controlled House who did so to keep Trump from running for office in the future.   

These obvious politizations of the Congress and the judiciary are in-effect nullifying their offices.   

Civil disobedience has often been used to protest issues that affect a minority of the people.   

In this case civil disobedience is necessary to protect the entire country from take-over by a single political party.   

So, regardless of how the courts decide the cases against Trump, the people must demand an opportunity to vote for him or not as a statement against the politization of the courts.   

Any state government that takes away the right of the people in their state to vote for whomever they like has become illegitimate.   The people in such states must take action to restore their rights as electors.
