Marinade: a savory usually acidic sauce in which meat, fish, or a vegetable is soaked to enrich its flavor or to tenderize it

Some foods are rather bland when simply prepared and served. They are unexciting - Just something to eat.

One of the traditional Ways of enhancing a food's flavor is to Marinate it in other edible food stuffs.

What are some Examples of marinades?

Vinegar, salt, pepper, lemon juice and combinations of food stuffs.

Marinating is best done in a sealed environment.

We Love the effect marination has on the food we eat.

Sauce: Thick liquid served with food, usually savory dishes, to Add moistness and flavor.

What are some Examples of sauces?

Ketchup, mustard, worcestershire, A1, 57, tobasco, texas pete, gravy...

We Love the effect sauces have on our foods.

What is the difference between marination and using sauces?

Marination requires Time , sauces are instant.

Marination results in flavor entering the food. Sauces put flavor on the food.

Are we hungry yet?

Before we break to eat, let's get to the point.

Christ was Never meant to be Just a sauce or spice for our Lives though any exposure to Him Adds so much to us.

Christ came to Marinate us , to permeate us , to fill us , to Transform us.

For what purpose?

To Enable us to enjoy His Presence , to Receive Spiritual Blessings that are in Heavenly Places and to empower us to make a difference in the Lives of those around us.

But marination requires saturation in a sealed environment over time .

What are the ingredients of Spiritual marinade?

The HolySpirit and the Word .

Have You ever Left an infredient out of a marinade for food? It Just doesn't taste right .

In order for us to be properly Spiritually marinated we must be exposed to both the HolySpirit and the Word .

And we must spend Time in the marinade.

And we must be sealed in the marinade from the effects of other influences .

A steak is forcefully placed in a marinade for the Time period deemed appropriate by the chef.

We have to willingly Submit ourselves to Spiritual marination. God Will Not force us.

Remember, it is Christ in Us , Not on Us , the Hope of Glory . Colossians 1:27

God wants You to like Him - glorious, Powerful and eternally loving. 1 Jhn 3:2

He is our marinade and, Truth be Know , we have been in Him since we Received Christ as Lord and Saviour .

Have we submitted out bodies a Living sacrifice? Romans 12:1

Have we allowed the HolySpirit and Word to Transform our Minds into the Mind of Christ ? Romans 12:2

God has done everything He can with Respect to us.

The ball is in our court.

For us to experience the Grace and Power of God that is available to us , we must Desire it, Ask for it and by Faith Receive it.

And don't forget, you cannot separate God from His Gifts .

Grace flows from the Love of God .

Jesus is the embodiment of God's Love .

Jesus is the incarnate Word of God .

Marinate in it.
