Jesus told us the kingdom of heaven is at hand.   He was letting us know that His riches were within reach.   

Why is Christmas so exciting for children?   

It is the anticipation of All the good things that they will receive,

Jesus told us that childlike faith and anticipation is how we tap into His kingdom.   

What should be the object of our anticipation?   The promises of the Lord.   Those promises are found in His Word which, when heard, produces faith to receive.   

The promises of the Lord reflect His love and implement His Grace.   Have faith in the love of the Lord and let anticipation of His favor rule your mind and heart.   

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them. Mar 11:24 A desire is the object of hope.     Desiring and Hoping are activities of the imagination.      Faith is the state of our heart regarding that which we desire.      Jesus is telling us to visualize a desire, ask for it and immediately receive it in faith.      The act of desiring, hoping, asking, believing and receiving by faith is a seed that is planted.     The manifestation of that which is desired is the harvest.      The Spiritual Law of Seed Time And Harvest is foundational to all that the Lord has created.      1) We sow 2) the Lord produces 3) We harvest.
