Freedom of Speech implies Freedom of thought.   

We cannot and should not control what people Think and Say.   This is the essence of the 1st Amendment.   

The arrogance of considering one set of Ideas acceptable and another set of Ideas unacceptable is anathema to Freedom.   

This position does not condone Racism , it just acknowledges it as a Right guaranteed by the Constitution.   

If this seems Wrong consider "intercourse outside of marriage".   Most Americans do not condone this practice.   Should a Law be enacted to make fornication illegal?   

Just because an Idea is considered Wrong by the majority does not entitle the majority to restrict the Freedom of the minority to be Wrong.   

We need to stop our un-American thinking based on a self-righteous sense of Morality.
