Even so faith, if it has not works, is dead, being alone. Jam 2:17 The purpose of faith is to appropriate that which Grace has provided.     If nothing has been appropriated then that faith is dead.     Appropriation is the materialization in the Physical Realm of a Spiritual Blessing in Heavenly Places.

But will you know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Jam 2:20 We must question our faith until we see the works.     How so?     We must question our Heart's commitment to what we acknowledge in our heads.     When our heart is committed to faith we have Heart Faith and receive when we ask.

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. Jam 2:26 works are necessary for needs to be met.

I think James makes it very clear that true faith produces works.   

True faith proves the love and Grace of the Holy Spirit by the manifestation of His power.   

Our Lord`s will is that none should perish.   

Holy Spirit Love and Grace operate by our faith in Christ producing life in those who perish.
