Title: Does your Prayer consist of requests for God to do things?

Just as God rested after the six days of Creation , so has Christ rested from His Work . Colossians 3:1 Revelation 3:21

" Finished !"

The Physical world that God created in the beginning is amazing, wonderful and complex. At the end of the sixth day He said:

"It is very Good !"

Because Christ's Work was Spiritual we tend not to appreciate how amazing, wonderful and complex it is.

Ephesians 3:8
Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this Grace given, that I should Preach among the Gentiles the Unsearchable Riches of Christ ;

The reality of Christ's Work is that everything we will ever need was Created and made available to us through His Suffering and Sacrifice .

2 Peter 1:3
according as His Divine Power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto Life and Godliness , through the Knowledge of Him that hath called us to Glory and Virtue :
This verse tells us that the New Creation of Christ is accessed by Knowledge of Christ - specifically, what He Created , who He Created it for and how to access it.

So, Prayer should not be for God to do anything. He has already Finished His New Creation in Christ Jesus and what you need now is already available.

The part of your Prayer involving requests should be to Ask for the Manifestation of what He has already provided, immediately followed by Thanksgiving and Praise for having received it.

God Needs You !

God has chosen to use the " Foolishness of Preaching to Save them that Believe ". 1 Corinthians 1:21

When we Pray for others Pray that you or some other Believer Preach to the one in Need so that they Believe their Need is met.

The Word " Save " means more than just " Saved from Hell ". It means delivered from Death . 2 Peter 3:9

Death is the absence of Life . Christ Jesus came that we may experience Abundant Life !. John 10:10

So, the best way to Pray for others is to Pray that God give you (or someone with access to them) a Word of Faith to Speak over the one in Need .

Remember, Faith comes by Hearing the Word of God ( Romans 10:17 ) and that we Receive things from God only by Faith ( James 1:6,7 ).

Never forget that God's Grace is an outpouring of His Love . He has provided all things for you because

He Loves You !
